Donald Trump has the support of nearly 1-in-2 Republican primary voters in Florida according to a new Florida Atlantic University Poll out Wednesday.
Trump is leading in the state with GOP primary voters by a significant, 32-point margin, with 48 percent. His nearest rival is Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 16 percent, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are the only others in double digits, with 11 percent and 10 percent, respectively.
Trump’s lead in that survey has been on a rapid rise since September 2015, when he came in at 32 percent, and support for Rubio and Bush in their home state has gradually declined over the course of the past four months. In that September poll Cruz was at 6 percent, Rubio was at 19 percent and Bush held 11 percent of the vote of those surveyed. In November, Trump took 36 percent, followed by Rubio with 18 percent and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 15 percent, who has dropped to 3 percent in the latest poll.

Never?
She couldn’t hide the reptilian in her anymore!
Sweet!
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, at 16 percent, looks at the numbers and declares victory for himself...."I beat Donald Trump," he emails the MSM.
“Trump will never win Texas, heâll get tons of lib crossovers but heâll never win here”
He’s getting Reagan Democrats. In national polls he is getting 12-20% of Democrats saying they will crossover.
He will Landslide Hillary Clinton.
Hope it’s the same...
He should volunteer at Walter Reed.
What are these clowns whining about? Are they upset that they will might be seeing different faces at those Washington parties come January of 2017?
I’m a Trump guy but how is a month old poll in Breaking news?
New Hampshire and South Carolina seem to have lit the big bonfire off - 50% in Nevada Polls and now in a few other places.
Only 50%?
Oh believe it.
I understand the skeptical reaction to most polls but looking at the internals here, I see an insane lead for Trump.
Even Bush saw it
Certainly Rubio does.
Ted & Rubio combined won’t get half of the voters that the Don has here
Im in Broward county...home of more left wing scum than the whole country combined....but Im telling ya Trump MAY come close to carrying this county. Broward county is also home to the first Tea Party. Over the weekend around Ft Lauderdale I saw several Trump sign wavers.
Isn’t that poll dated Jan 19th ?
Is Florida one of the Super Tuesday states?
This poll is over a month old.
Further evidence of America’s continual decline.
Agreed. I am saddened that so many are taken in by the empty rhetoric, and bullying.
We may as well have Hillary or Bernie if we’re going to end up with Trump.
50 percent in MA and now 48 in FL, this is terrific. It will be very enlightening to see what the polls say about all the upcoming Super Tuesday states. My bet is that we will see very similar results in most of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump wins 12 of the 14, and wouldn’t even be surprised if he won all 14 contests. The establishment still holds onto the idea that Rubio and Cruz will be able to hold on long enough to get a brokered convention.
My prediction is that Rubio and Cruz will suspend their campaigns on March 15 or maybe even before.
Florida on March 15th will be a very important result for all the candidates.
I see it as the ‘end of the line’ for the Republican Establishment’s ability to stop Donald Trump in the primary-caucus process.
They still have a convention to manipulate in July and don’t put it past them.
