Back in late 2014, Bill Kristol foresaw that Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky wouldnât get very far in the forthcoming Republican primary season. He also forecast that Jeb Bush, then the presumed Republican front-runner, would struggle to secure the nomination.
He was correct in both instances.
This is newsworthy in the same sense that a man biting a dog is newsworthy. Itâs an unusual, even aberrant event, a violation of the usual order of things.
Kristol, 63, the eminent conservative commentator, has made so many wrong predictions that heâs become a kind of cult figure of wrong, at least among some media watchers.

Sounds like me.
I predicted no POTUS could get re-elected with $4 gas, surging food prices, 8% unemployment (13% actual), trillion dollar deficits, Obamacare, and Benghazi.
Eminent Conservative my ass. Kristol is a globalist establishment hack
And i’ll keep ignoring him.

Yep. He’s been very bad for conservatives. I wish he would go away.
Dick Morris is another clown who is wrong 99% of the time and still manages to keep his job.
These people aren’t intellectual heavyweights, they’re just cheerleaders. I suspect that most of the time, they know how full of BS they are, they’re just in it for the paycheck.
He’s on a par with Dick Morris.
I’ve come to not trust the description “conservative” anymore given that so called conservatives have used that label to get elected and then betrayed what we thought were conservative values too many times. Right now many globalists call themselves conservatives and too many people just buy into what they think it means.
I want to know what someone is going to do and know that they have a history of doing what they say.
Kristol was among the first to stick the globalist spear into Pat Buchanan in 1992.
“Eminent Conservative my ass. Kristol is a globalist establishment hack”
+1
Behind the scenes, Bill Kristol is probably Donald Trump’s biggest fan — a New York City hack who wouldn’t recognize most of America west of the Delaware River, and probably thinks a grass lawn on a half-acre property is wilderness.
Neoconservative = Nonconservative
Kristol doesn’t study events and predict what will happen.
He thinks about what he’d LIKE to see happen and predicts that it WILL happen.
He’s a one-man push poll.
“Neoconservative = Nonconservative”
yep.
But they sure have managed to insinuate themselves into conservative media. Salem Media being a major example, especially since it bought up so many once-conservative outlets.
Kristol’s Weekly Standard started out as a neoconservative operation, never was conservative.
That’s how the likes of Walter Mondale’s speechwriter Charles Krauthammer gets passed off as a “conservative”. Or Michael Medved gets passed off as a “conservative”. And then we get slow learners like Hannity and the carnival barker Beck echoing them.
“Behind the scenes, Bill Kristol is probably Donald Trumpâs biggest fan...”
Yes, and there are tens of millions more just like him.
Fox dumped Morris, so no, he did not get to keep his job.
As long as people keep paying him, he’ll keep flapping his gums & spewing his predictions.
My cats predict more accurately than Sweet Billy Kristol.
