Pelican Brief?
Scalia “is said” to have died of a heart attack

Yet as details of his sudden death trickled in Sunday, it appeared that the hours afterward were anything but orderly. The man known for his elegant legal opinions and profound intellect was found dead in his room at a hunting resort by a ranch owner.
It then took hours for authorities in remote West Texas to find a justice of the peace, officials said Sunday. When they did, she pronounced Scalia dead of natural causes without seeing the body and decided not to order an autopsy.
A second justice of the peace, who was called but couldn’t get to Scalia’s body in time, said she would have ordered an autopsy.
He was 79. He was red-faced. I can believe heart attack. However, that doesn’t mean other things aren’t in the realm of possibility.
I'll believe it when someone with some medical authority says so.
Michael Jackson was on a bed when his doctor performed CPR. THIS LED TO HIS DEATH and HIS DOCTOR SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER.
If you are not on a hard surface when you finally succumb and there's only one other person in the room who can perform CPR on you, THEY WILL BE UNABLE TO GET YOU ON THE FLOOR ALL BY THEMSELVES, so sit or lay on the FLOOR/GROUND if you think you're having a heart attack!!
Maybe his shoulder pain was referred pain from his heart.
Knowing this and that he wasn’t feeling well makes me less suspicious of foul play.
Still, is stupid to call it a “heart attack” when that is just a guess.
Doesn’t appear there was an autopsy.
I would like to hear from Scalia’s friends to get a better idea of what Scalia meant when he said he did not feel good. Stomach ache, headache, what made him not feel good? Heck I didnt feel good last night but I knew the cause(I suffer from acid reflux ate some chocolate) so I knew the cause, in Scalia’s case he was much older, but he felt fine enough to go to Texas to go hunt, so something went wrong, a heart attack can happen at any time, any place, but the “Not feeling good” warning sign, never let a person go to bed, the second he went to bed thats it, he was dead, probably died instantly the moment his head hit the pillow
Washington Post;
The Justice of the Peace didn’t see the body and declares he did of natural causes; this is possible per Texas law but doesn’t sound good, does it.
“When they did, she pronounced Scalia dead of natural causes without seeing the body and decided not to order an autopsy.”
The other JP says he/she would have ordered an autopsy.
This is bad law if so.
Had it happen 16 months ago. I was 68 years old walking 20 to 30 miles a week in a hilly area. I was at rest one day and got a feeling in my chest like I drank a scalding hot cup of coffee. Walked to the emergency room, blood test taken, cath done. Had a 90% blocked main artery and had no idea. I was just lucky I never threw a clot or plaque.
This article claims Cinderella ordered an autopsy after pronouncing him dead early in the afternoon on Saturday.
That would be the world’s fastest autopsy.
I wonder if they looked for a small round dart-entry hole anywhere on his body.
Did he have a history of heart problems?
Interesting that they had time to call in a priest for last rites but didn’t bother to get him to a hospital.
If he did, it was not public information-and I’m all for keeping anyone’s health info private, unless they say otherwise-since they said the family declined an autopsy, maybe the family was aware of some problem/condition-it doesn’t sound like they were surprised.
Evil and unprincipled as this administration is, I still don’t see a conspiracy here-Scalia was obviously overweight-that says bad eating habits, which does cause heart problems.
That article contradicts what is in the article this thread is based upon. In this article Cinderella claims she DID order an autopsy. In the one you linked to, they said no autopsy was ordered because there “were no signs of foul play”. Are these people idiots, or what? An assassin is supposed to leave big signs that they were there?
Even the description of the conversation with the doctor was weird. The doctor didn’t hesitate one bit to say that Scalia has a shoulder injury but apparently didn’t say anything to the judge about a heart condition, or the judge would/should have simply said that. She didn’t. She mentioned some chronic conditions but that could be sinusitis and colitis for all we know; if it had been a heart condition the judge should certainly have said so. It’s what the judge DIDN’T say and DIDN’T do that make this stink.
As a Catholic, having called the priest for last rites when MrT5 died in his sleep (no conspiracy there, either)-I know last rites are usually performed by a priest who is called to the site, if the person has been declared dead-there is no point in taking an obviously deceased individual to a hospital for last rites...
I’d have to see the article again, that said he had last rites. I thought they were saying they gave him last rites in the night.
Strange that nobody could be found to examine the body of the man whose very existence has kept the 9th Circuit from doing whatever they want to this nation.
He was already DEAD.
