I understand what you are saying. I have longed for someone out of politics to do something like this, but just wish it wasn’t Trump....sigh.
Chuckling.. I like Trump, but he is certainly not the base. He’s getting the populist crossover democrats and independents. He is everything the GOPe said they wanted, except he is strong on immigration and putting America first, which is a no-go and embarrassing for the donor class and the exempt.
Now, it is a matter of the percentages they get for the proportional delegates count.
Drudge has it at 35% now.
Ok, well there was a big Twitter debate on that and the conclusion was it went to #1. So, heck, I don’t know.
Yeppers...tried to get my F-I-L to vote for Keyes in a primary some years ago, and I got a two-word response: 'Wrong color.'

Yeah. Cruz is a strong conservative and NH is a very liberal state. They voted for the good 'ol boys as expected.
It's good Cruz didn't spend too much on this one because he would have wasted his money. Trump knew he'd be a shoe in, so he didn't bother to campaign at all.
Bush knew he had a good chance in a state like NH, too. I'm surprised he didn't do better. I thought he'd come in an easy first or second.
CRUZ just moved into 3rd place with 10.3% reporting.

Ted Cruz 3,598 votes (-5,779) 12.5%
Jeb Bush 3,570 votes (-5,807) 12.4%
