...In real life, expletives are often used as a form of aggression or cruelty. A co-worker who tells you to Trump yourself is usually being unpleasant. A co-worker who does this every day is often creating a hostile or demeaning work environment. Language suitable for decent company is a form of politeness, which is a species of respect, which is an expression of morality. And if I am the last holdout on this issue, so be it. I don't really give a damn.
Win or lose, Trump has brought the language and sensibilities of cable TV to presidential politics...

It’s kind of interesting to note that on a site where profanity is not allowed, there is so much support for one of the most profane candidates. I am guessing that a lot of what Trump says would not be allowed to be posted here.

I will suggest that many Trump supporters who have always supported solid Christian values here now find themselves in an awkward position.
The first disconnect I became aware of was when he boldly stated that he had never felt the need to ask God For forgiveness. Then, his adulteries are glossed over (everybody's doin' it). He increases his wealth catering to the lusts of the flesh and the pride of life (casinos and strip clubs).
Sensing some weakness on that flank, he hauls out Mama's Bible and waves it around. That would be mildly amusing were it not so pathetic.
Christians who choose their associations within a framework of Christian values, look at all of this and have to feel at least a little discomfort. The bolder will point them out.
We are accustomed to being called bigots. The lefties have been doing it for years. The surprise seeing that card played on THIS board.

Our current President thinks just like Trump in that respect.
And that is not the only similarity I am observing from Trump. Narcissistic behavior, sublime arrogance, bigger than life ego, etc.....and a really nasty "Eff You" attitude. Just showing off those NY (and Chicago-style) "values", no doubt.
