Trump: If we're attacked, we'll 'beat the s--t out of them'
The Hill ^ | February 2, 2016 | Rebecca Savransky

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says America will be glad if he's the president next time the nation is attacked.

"If we are attacked, somebody attacks us, wouldn't you rather have Trump as president if we're attacked?" he said at a rally in Milford, N.H. "We'll beat the shit out of them."

He added that America needs to stop "playing games."

"We've become the policemen to the entire world," he said. "We take care of the world. They pay us peanuts."

It was really dumb for Cruz to hand over ammunition to Trump. He’s already using it;

The shamming letters were the ones where Cruz graded voters on their voting history and sent the results to all their neighbors.

It worked. People who had not voted in years got out to vote this time to improve their “grade”.

Cruz got the highest turnout in the history of the Iowa caucus. If he can replicate this everywhere he will be unstoppable.

This was the tweet that CNN put up [note the time on the tweet], and the reason they put it up was because Carson, himself, gave them the info. I retweeted the tweet instantly. So did hundreds, if not thousands, of others. Like it or not, that’s how social media works!

That dirty trick caused about 20% of the Carson voters to move over to Cruz rather than waste their vote on someone who was ending his campaign, according to Cruz. That was the difference between Cruz’s total and Trump’s total. Otherwise, Trump wins, and the entry polls were correct. I must say begrudgingly, it was a brilliant political dirty trick; hard to say which was best-—the mailer, Beck’s photoshopped phony Tweet, forgetting to note to the FEC that his wife’s employer, Goldman Sachs, and chief beneficiary of her previous employer’s (the Fed Govt) massive transfer of money to the NY Banks in 2008 gave Cruz a million dollars and doggone it the Ivy League brainiac just forgot. Kinda like he forgot he was a Canadian citizen. He just plain forgot.

Read post 28.

If Ted did nothing wrong why apologize?

What people were tweeting about Ted’s dirty tricks was true.

I am waiting for CANADIANS to speak up. Their fellow Canadian Cruz is REALLY making them look bad. People might stereotype all Canadians as cheating, lying con-men, which I know doesn’t apply to all of them by any means. But being the most famous Canadian in the world right now, Cruz is casting them in a bad light.

If Ted did nothing wrong why apologize?

Because even if they were not the source of the incorrect information, they did pass on incorrect information. Apologizing is the classy and proper response. I'm sure that is a hard concept for Trump supporters to comprehend - nobody would use the word classy in association with Trump.

How does a few day break magically become dropping out of the campaign to the Cruz team??

They made it up. They made a very wrong assumption. And acted on it. Very foolish.

There is no defending it on ethical or moral grounds.

Interesting analogy, didn’t think of it that way before. Could be exactly why Trump lost Iowa.

Okaaay, except that he defines “attack” so loosely. Unless other candidates kiss his feet and act like they want him to win instead of themselves, Trump views it as an attack. In other words, all Trump attacks are valid, in his view, while all other candidates are invalid.

That is narcissism.

For example, a conversation between Cruz and his own campaign strategist about how they could win, which was not meant for wide release, was interpreted by Trump as an “attack.” That’s crazy. Every campaign is plotting out how they can win, otherwise they would quit.
