How does a few day break magically become dropping out of the campaign to the Cruz team??
They made it up. They made a very wrong assumption. And acted on it. Very foolish.
There is no defending it on ethical or moral grounds.
CNN first reported it, and then CNN later backed off the story. These things happen.
