The personalized letters target individual Iowa voters and identifies them as having failed to vote in prior elections. They are admonished and then encouraged to vote this year. In addition the letters identify the neighbors of the voter, and provides their voting history.
The text reads:
"You are receiving this election notice because of low expected voter turnout in your area. Your individual voting history as well as your neighbors' are public record. Their scores are published below, and many of them will see your score as well. CAUCUS ON MONDAY TO IMPROVE YOUR SCORE and please encourage your neighbors to caucus as well. A follow-up notice may be issued following Monday's caucuses".
In an effort to shame the recipient, the notice also informs the targeted voter their neighbors have also been notified of the recipients poor voting record.

It almost seems like a hit piece effort. Dirty trick.
In my state (where no dirty trick hasn’t been tried) one dirty trick was setting a robo dial for 1-4 a.m. using a competitor’s name - making it look like it came from that candidate.
Before he became a Senator only a few people knew he was a creep.
By Monday the entire would will know him as a creep for all of human existence.

Have you ever worked on a campaign? A campaign without a huge database of voting records is not a campaign.
Oh my, what were they thinking? Ted accused Carson and Trump of having bad judgment - looks like the judgment he rendered has come back to haunt him.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense would understand that this kind of nonsense will piss people off in the most visceral way. Terrible optics....if Trump grabs this it’s going to cost Cruz.

This is like the old days when a collection agency would call you about your neighbor and ask you to walk over to his house and shame him into paying his debt.
Trump was right when he called Cruz a “maniac” referring to how he relates to others.
So the Trumpkins are going to take the moral high ground here, while they constantly engage in juvenile bullying, insults and ridicule like the above? Yeah, right.
