While Thursday night's GOP debate was still on-going, NBC's Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd appeared on MSNBC's The Last Word and hyped that Donald Trump events like the one he held instead of attending the debate have a "sort of like this rock concert feel" while the latest Republican presidential debate felt like it was "low energy" instead.
After joking that Rick Santorum was desperately trying to not stand directly behind the Trump campaign podium at the so-called event for veterans, Todd mentioned that he was there for awhile before coming back to the debate site and noticed that "[i]t had a rock concert atmosphere."

Rock star. Haven’t we heard that before? Oh yea, about 8 years ago when Obama was running.
Electrolites; it's what Trump supporters crave.
Yeah for CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, BBC, and Al Jazera!!!
You’re overlooking a very important point. Faux News is causing just as much trouble with the GOP. Would a true “conservative” network invite left-wing troublemakers to ask questions of the candidates? They had the temerity to invite an illegal alien and an obnoxious, loudmouth muslim bimbo to disrupt a Gop debate. BTW, the muslim witch is also a Bernie supporter.
Would CNN, MSNBC or other networks invite conservatives to ask questions at a Democratic debate? I think not. This proves Faux is, sadly, just as left-wing as the other networks. That move was absolutely unforgivable.
Also unforgivable was the lovefest between Megyn Kelly and her best friend, Michael Moore. It’s sickening how some cuckservatives on FR are praising Megyn as a conservative journalist. I guess they got a tingle down their legs when Megyn was slobbering over Moore.
BTW, I’m for Cruz but I don’t have a violent hatred of Trump like many here. In fact, I love the way Trump gives the media a hard time.
Chuck Todd and others in the MSM don’t need any help causing trouble; the GOPe and Faux are doing quite nicely on their own.
I didn’t watch the debate because I’m a conservative and I have integrity. I had no desire to watch the invited liberal interlopers cause trouble.
Flame away; I don’t care.
No flame from me :)
I truly enjoyed your post!
How much have you donated to vet groups?
Little media lapdog yiping at Fox news heels and encouraging Trump. Hmm...
What about the Washi Accords?
When did you graduate from Wharton?
How much have you given to vet groups?
Your comments sound a lot like what used to be said about a certain B rate actor
No flames from me
You said it very well
Eh, there are many differences too—like this event was for VETS, event was opened with prayer, there were 2 previous conservative Presidential candidate Iowa caucus winners supporting the event, no asking for campaign donations, VETS (4) sharing the stage and speaking, $6+ million raised for Vets, no telepromper or notes.
Surprisingly, unilateral disarmament doesn't seem to work.
Well, to be fair, FNC managed a tie with CNBC in terms of professional standards.
So technically, they're only tied for that last spot.
That was a class act all the way. Iâm actually surprised at just how classy it really was. John Wayn Walding was simply amazing!
All that's missing are the Roman Columns on the stage, at his events.
Donald Trump was just helping Sleepy Eyes stay awake so he could read the cliffs on the gop debate.
yep. and thatâs cool, because nbc news, msnbc, and cnn are all known to be totally unbiased when it comes to reporting conservative issues.
youâre getting played, people.
Sorry, I have been to a Trump Rally—they are anything but dull.

Instead of Roman columns, there were American flags and wounded veterans of incredible character.
And it was their show. Donald gave the stage to them.
All that was missing was a man who hates America.
He had been replaced by men who love America.
It really was something extraordinary to watch.
I’m pretty sure Cruz supporters wouldn’t be able to appreciate it though, because they have apparently gone off the deep end.
Oh well.
