Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said that Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was similar to an establishment Republican compromiser after the real estate mogul pledged earlier to work closely with Democratic leaders in Congress.
"You might as well vote for Jeb Bush," Levin said. "I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great."
In an interview Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Trump said, "I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem. Reid will be gone." He added, "I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways. It's important that you get along."
While speaking well of House Minority Leader Pelosi of California, the likely next Democratic Senate Leader Schumer of New York and retiring Senate Democratic leader Reid of Nevada, Trump called his Republican primary opponent Texas Sen. Ted Cruz "nasty."
"He just talks up Reid. He just talks up Pelosi. He just talks up Schumer and he trashes the hell out of the most conservative member of the United States Senate," Levin said.
"It's not a matter of getting along with people and cutting deals," Levin said. "It's a matter of moving the country, persuading the country, persuading the Republican party to follow you," Levin continued. "That's what a statesman does. That's what Churchill did. That's what Thatcher did. That's what Reagan did. That's what you have to do, or you might as well vote for Jeb Bush. I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great. For some people this is perfectly fine. I'm troubled by it."
Exactly, Levin has a clever and amusing personality. Talk radio is not educative, nor is it meant to be.
"WASHINGTON - Donald Trump on Sunday admitted he considered becoming George H.W. Bush's running mate, but denied it was ever his idea.
The potential Bush-Trump ticket was first revealed in a new biography by historian Jon Meacham, who writes in "Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush" that the 41st president considered the idea "strange and unbelievable."
The book claims Trump was the one seeking to be veep and asked Bush aide Lee Atwater to vet him for the ticket. But Trump claims it was the other way around."....
” Trump said, “I’ve always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I’ve never had a problem. Reid will be gone.” He added, “I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways. It’s important that you get along.”
Trump sure loves him some libtards.
Ever been topside, with building?
I always thought Mark Levin was smart. Not now. He has painted himself into an obscure corner.
“...And on Fox and Friends on Wednesday, Trump explained why he donated to Clinton’s campaigns.
I’m a businessman. I contribute to everybody,” Trump said. “When I needed Hillary, she was there. If I say ‘go to my wedding,’ they go to my wedding.”

“Mr Ted Cruz on the other hand, has taken 13 million from one guy...that is some serious influence peddling, right there.”
13 million from one guy? Are you sure about that? Federal limits on donations are only $7,000 or so a year.
“Levin’s been working to undermine Trump for some time and won’t be honest about it to his audience.”
Odd for someone to write a book about deception.
“Of course Giuliani would endorse Trump.”

I think Trump likes making out with Rooty! It must be those NYC ‘values’.
With Rooty’s endorsement, Trump should have the faggot vote sewed up.
wut?
I was asking about something, that you answered with- “wut”
Thanks.
“No one understands the Constitution like Ted Cruz”
That particular statement, which I have seen over and over, is laughable and is also complete BS — boilerplate rolled out for a campaign. Cruz, it implies, has access to a wisdom that the rest of us are not even aware of.
The authors of the Constitution wrote at length about the Constitution being written in order for it to be understood.
The Constitution does NOT require some appointed “expert” to tell us what it means. It is NOT written in legalese. It is written in straight-forward, simple English.
Lawyers detest anything written in such a fashion, and they will toil in trying to make it appear that it is a mystery only they can unlock.
“In Reality, Trump has contributed to the decline of America just as much as his buddies in Congress.”
Did you know that Trump donated money to Cruz’s senatorial campaign? Can you factor that into your venomous intellect?
Well done. Usually these Bushbottype trolls dont show up until two months before the Election in November. However it seems that there Karl Rove checks are coming in earlier for the primaries. Lol.
Go Trump
These days, when somebody says they “know the constitution,” it’s code for knowing the body of interpretive law that SCOTUS has overlaid. The constitution read on its face has been nearly totally subverted. I mean, it is understandable, sure. But the government doesn’t abide by it, except by sophistry and pedantry.
‘Trump is a total fraud.’
Cruz —
“I liquidated my assets to run for senate.”
How dramatic. But untrue.
Total Fraud?
“I am currently not insured.”
How dramatic. But untrue.
Total Fraud?
“I agree with Levin. Trump is a total fraud.”
Ditto. He is a fraud and a wussy too. He drops out of a debate because a “girl” is mean to him. Putin must be wetting his pants from laughter.
I agree with Levin.
What does D.C. ‘deal’ in other than our wealth, property, liberties and enterprise? Their stock in trade is our interests and welfare. Why do we want someone who will “make deals” with that?
Everything they have is taken from the People. Everything they do is done to the People. Trump want’s to “work with” the DC people to “get things done”. No thanks. I’ll take ‘Gridlock and Shutdown” Cruz any day. When the money is removed from government the criminals will follow. When the power is removed from government the tyrants will follow. There are way too many of both right now to “work with.”
I keep asking Cruzers (and Levin): “Why aren’t self-professed “conservative” and “very conservative” voters-—in polls-—NOT supporting Cruz?”
Rather than rail at Trump’s appeal, since you don’t like that, then reverse it. Why is Ted failing? You will have a lot of answers, but then again, you might not like them. The debate thing is just one more example of what I’m hinting at.
