I’m not going to vote for a GOPe. Been there, done that too
often in the past. - I WILL crawl over rough gravel to get
to the polls to vote for either Trump or Cruz against either
Hitlery or Sanders. Sick of Clintons. Sanders sucks rocks.

I will not vote for Donald Trump for the Republican nominee. I will actually vote for the candidate most likely to succeed in winning the nominee over Trump, whoever it may be. With that said, I will vote for the Republican nominee (whoever it is) over Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders, or any other DemonRat.

I find myself in complete agreement with the thoughts expressed in your post. I would love to see Trump in for the next eight years for one simple reason: he will be like a wrecking ball to the current political system in this country, the system that has brought us to the precipice of disaster. We need a major change, we need somebody who is not a typical politician, somebody who is not afraid who say what he believes, and who is a doer rather than a talker. Trump has, to the everlasting benefit of this country, started hammering a stake into the heart of political correctness and he has also reignited an honest discussion regarding immigration. If for no other reason, Trump deserves a very serious look by all conservatives. No, he is not a doctrinaire conservative. He is no Goldwater, Reagan or Cruz. However, he has done the conservative cause so much good just by these two sets of actions that we need to take a serious look at him.

Cruz, OTOH, will benefit from 8 years as either vice president or attorney general. He will have major input, if not complete control, over who gets nominated for the federal judiciary. That is the kind of thing that Trump would do, delegate a task to somebody who is an expert in the field. Cruz will also benefit from a lot of public exposure. That exposure will put lie to the caricature that both the Dems and the Republican establishment have spread about who Ted Cruz is. No, he’s not perfect, but he is this generation’s Reagan. He has many, many years left in politics, and if he does not win the presidency this year it will not be a calamity. Frankly, I really believe that it will be to his benefit to serve in an executive position to get both seasoning and exposure.

I will use the handle on my vomit bucket to pull the lever for Trump, like I did for McCain.

I don’t vote for Democrats so I can’t support Trump.

Sorry.

I’ve been voting Cheap Labor Express™ for 25 years. I can’t do it anymore. It is Trump or down ballot only.

Trump or Cruz, Cruz or Trump, I’m just disappointed at the ugly in the campaign, sadly most of it from the leader who shouldn’t have to stoop.

Yes. Yes. I like them both and would gladly cast a vote for any of them. I’d vote for any of the other candidates with less enthusiasm, and for some of them with great reluctance. But be realistic. A RINO is better than Bernie or Hillary. After 4-8 years of either of them, our country may be beyond saving. A RINO may not turn anything around, but would at least slow the decline.

Trump has never had any problems cutting deals with socialists in the past. I am sure that he will do just fine without my support. I promised myself after voting for Romney that I would never cast another vote while holding my nose and I plan to keep that promise. Trump had a chance to earn my vote and be blew it.

I prefer Cruz but would vote for Trump (even tho’ I do not much trust him). Still have a soft-spot for Carson (but I know that’s not happening). Anyone else is a big NO (even Rubio right now, and he used to be high on my list), I will not “hold my nose” and vote for GOPe again (esp. Jeb!)

If Cruz wins which at this point appears metaphysically impossible I will most certainly vote for him in the general election.
