Sarah Palin Endorses Donald Trump, Rallying Conservatives
NY Times ^ | January 19, 2016 | Maggie Haberman

Posted on 01/19/2016 1:35:17 PM PST by C19fan

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state’s caucuses.

“I’m proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president,” Ms. Palin said in a statement provided by his campaign.

Dear Cold War Warriors

The Soviet Union no longer exists. Russian no longer has 10 of thousands of armored fighting vehicles crewed by millions of conscripted Eastern European and Ukrainians on the Elbe River posed to invade the West.

The Cold War is over. We won.

Have a nice day.

I’ve said before that Trump resembles Reagan in that when Reagan first ran people weren’t quite sure what he stood for. He had problems in his past, including divorce and some support for abortion shortly before, while Governor of California.

But he was VERY good at picking the people who worked with him. VERY good. Advisers and cabinet secretaries and military leaders. And with their advice, he became a Christian, moral conservative.

I’m hoping for the same thing with Trump. He needs a close, reliable adviser with real values and leadership experience. And Sarah is such a one, despite the tendency of many Freepers to jump on board the Mainstream lies about her. They can see Russia from their houses.

Cruz? It’s extremely noticeable that the Cruzers are completely out of control with their Trump bashing, while most of the Trump supporters are fairly reserved in attacking Cruz.

Cruz definitely IS NOT a natural born citizen in the traditional sense, that was understood for more than a hundred years. Citizen yes, natural born, no. And since he isn’t a Democrat, I think the courts will be quick to say as much. We discussed this issue endlessly when Obama was running, and there really is no doubt that Cruz doesn’t qualify.

Not only that, but although Cruz talks a good game, he has done extremely little to advance the conservative cause. He is, I fear, a phony. He looks to me like a polished clothing dummy, and I’m afraid that’s what he is.

Sorry, I don’t say this very often here, but I’m afraid a lot of Freepers have been taken in by him. And then they spout liberal lies and insults all over the place, but especially at Trump.

I think Trump has reached the point where he is ready to rest on his personal accomplishments up to now, and devote himself to the good of his country. And Sarah is the perfect person to advise him how to do that, with solid moral values, a great record, and solid political experience as Mayor and Governor.

This could be the key turning point in this election. Too bad to hear all these Freepers screaming that Trump is awful and Sarah is awful.

Not voting for the nominee is what gave us another Obama term.

Uh oh. This is quite the conundrum! Now for all these years on FR you must pick one or the other or there are lines drawn that must not be crossed, massive purges if you choose the “wrong camp.” FRee speech thrown out the proverbial window.

If you choose Trump you’re a traitor and ostracized from the Freeper Community. Same for Cruz. Now the Queen of Conservative, and probably the only one out of both of them with any “balls” Palin, endorses Trump.

My My My things are about to get very interesting around here.

Right on, old fashioned friend. She needs to settle down with a good man - one that loves her, and takes the lead.

I genuinely believe that Trump would support:

abortion rights eminent domain for seizing private property single payer health care tax increases

Evidence for this?

You are SO right!!
This is sad to watch happen, and so many here on FR have bought into it.
I pray that many true conservative AMERICANS will think this through seriously, or we will see another Clinton Presidency...

God Hear our Prayers for renewal in our Land..

Wow. Bitter are we. Sore loser. Just wait until Cruz has to leave the race. What a day for America that will be. He is not ready. Sorry. He just isn’t. He is a terrible campaigner. Trump is incredible.

And not sure what muslim has to do with anything but I will give it a pass since you are having a tantrum today.

Donald Trump did not make fun of a disabled person, he was taking on a reporter who he did not know, who perpetrated the traitorous lie that muslims were not celebrating the fall of the Twin Towers.

He was using dramatic gestures as he is wont to do, to make his point. This meme was only raised by the left to distract people from the fact that Donald Trump caught this reporter in a very serious lie. It is a sort of Lazlo-type trick.

I find it impossible to believe that any man of Donald Trump’s stature, age, and level of education, liberal or conservative, democrat or republican, would stoop to such a thing, or that Sarah Palin, the mother of a Down’s syndrome child would have anything to do with such a person, most certainly she would not actively endorse that person for the presidency.

Well, well, well...nopardons raising her hypocritical little head again. Perhaps this time you’ll choose to answer the questions:

On this thread from 2011:
Meet Donald Trump, Sudden Right-Wing Conservative: Contributions, Abortion, Health Care, and Taxes

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2700816/posts

You said the following about St. Donald:
“Paying bribes to pols is one thing, touting them for president, as he did with Hillary, is quite another thing.
What about the rest of the facts, that are in this article? That man nothing at all to you either?
What about his disgusting personal life?
21 posted on 4/6/2011, 9:53:33 PM by nopardons”

AND then theres this gem:

“Here’s a news flash for ya................Trump can’t beat Obama! Trump would be even WORSE than Barry! He’s Clintonian re morals, worse than Barry re taxes, and far worse than Hoover re tariffs.
Because he has donated to more Dems than GOPers, is personal friends of the Clintons (he wanted Hillary to be president! ), has mob ties, his SCOTUS picks would be a disaster, as would his other appointments.

Care to explain? You’ve done a wonderful job of explaining all of our concerns about Trump.

I will vote for Trump if Cruz does not win.""""".....

100% agree......BUT, when will you EVER see a Trump supporter say they will vote for CRUZ if Trump does not win?

Most Cruz supporters caveat their posts with,,,BUT we will vote for Trump, why is that only a one way thing?
