Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the stateâs caucuses.
âIâm proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president,â Ms. Palin said in a statement provided by his campaign.

This might work in Iowa, but he will lose more people nationally.
Her negatives among the general electorate are YUUUGE.

I want Ted
I like Sarah
I will vote for Trump if Cruz does not win.

“I greatly admire Sarah Palin.”
Maybe if I did, this would be true. Except I don’t. Never have, never will.

Sarah Palin is a bigger patriot than I frankly expected. She will support the first unabashedly America First candidate in 30 years.

Same sentiment here.
Sarah Palin was why I voted for McCain/Palin.
I would be happy with a Ted Cruz presidency.
I would be happy with a Donald Trump presidency.
The name-calling competition here on FR makes no sense to me.
Hillary C., Joe B., or Bernie S. will seek to use Republican words against us once we are truly near the election!

Sarah’s endorsement is the kiss of death with GOPe types, interesting to see how this will play out since they (the GOPe) have seemed to gravitate to Trump as of late.

Just had one freeper tell me that they will not vote if trump is the nominee.
No wonder our side cannot get power if some want to have temper tantrums.
I’m happy that we have two leading candidates who the establishment hates, but I hope Cruz does it.
