Pariah?Oh are You talking about Hillary and Bill?
Is Ted Cruz’s unpopularity in Washington a badge of courage, or an impediment to being an effective president?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
GO TRUMP!
Haha! Um, hello, Joe? Being an outcast of either party in D.C. these days is a good thing, Joe.
I think the Washington Elite are Politically Racists. Anyone not in their club is Hated.
(Nevermind what Racist means. Shame them.)
Not belonging to the Good Ol’ Patsies in D. C. is a badge of honor. And speaking of honor,Ted Cruz never had a dead girl in his office, Joe.
Irony is apparently lost on Mr. Trump, in this instance.
Calling Ted Cruz “hated, unlikable, etc.” on one day, and then turning around and sneering/mocking opponents on the next (and telling them to pound sand if they don’t like it) is’t exactly the quintessence of logical or moral consistency.
Nor (with all due respect) is it consistent for Trump supporters to applaud this, while applauding Trump’s “brash and tough disregard for the feelings and opinions of his opponents” on the very next day.
Just saying.
Funny Joe would say this, I’ve heard that same comment about
Scarborough himself.
I think Scarborough has a point, but the problem is that it is very difficult to find people in that true middle ground between being an “insider” and being a “pariah”. I’d prefer if Ted wasn’t a pariah, while still being a staunch conservative, but beggars can’t always be choosers.
Trump Scarborough 16: NY values
To be fair to Ted, no one likes Obama. Democrats even admit it. Still, BO gets things done.
If Scarborough doesn’t like him, thats another point in his favor.
Cruz has all the right enemies.
GOPe doesn’t like Trump, and they really don’t like Cruz.
I’d vote for Cruz in the general election, especially against Hillary and Sanders, but I have no illusions about him getting elected (like I did about past GOP candidates), and I also have no illusions about him being able to get much of anything done in terms of an enduring legislative agenda.
I was turned off when I saw Cruz whining about how McConnell lied to him. The Turtle probably did lie to him but by getting up in the Senate and whining about it, you are exposing the fact that you got duped, which to me is not a good look. If that happened to me, I’d be very quiet about it, but make a mental note never to believe the guy again.
Joe likes Trump who is a ratings bonanza. I like them both.
Pray America wakes
This is spot on. Many people are starting to notice Cruz has no accomplishments outside the court room. He’s done nothing in DC. Built no coalitions to advance the Conservative agenda. He’s pulled an Obama. Campaigned for POTUS the entire time he has been in beltway and it’s alienated him from EVERYBODY there. Nobody likes him. Nobody likes being a potted plant in Cruz’s beltway theater performances or being stepped on by a climber like Cruz. Ted Cruz’s has only his own selfishness to blame for this.
I think the “very nasty guy” remark pushed me back to Cruz. Anyone who has seen Cruz and his kids knows he isn’t nasty. Trump in the mirror.
Cruz doesn’t want to “make deals,” Joey. He wants to stand on principle. There’s a difference.
Also - even if he *wanted* to make deals, it’s pretty hard when your lying Republican leadership stands in your way the whole time.
Cruz is forcing liberal elitist to brightly expose their NY elitist values, they are popping their ugly heads from under cover in droves.
