Is Trump warming to Kasich as his running mate after the last debate? If Donald Trump manages to win the Republican presidential nomination (and this is becoming less of an âifâ with each passing day), then he must select a vice-presidential running mate. Surely it will be tough for The Donald to share the national ticket with anyone, but at least he will still be on top. With this decision potentially on the horizon, did Trump spontaneously drop a hint about who could be on his veep short-list during Thursday nightâs Republican debate?
The answer is yes.

I pass on John Kasich.
JEESUS MYRA, all you got is that Trump agreed with Kasich about China????!?
And that becomes a Presidential TICKET???!?
Wow, the Establishment is working overtime.
I don't see any posts giving this article any merit, but it is fun to imagine what the reaction here would be if this did actually happen...
I already stated I don't think it would happen...
Pure nonsense. If you weren’t so TDS, you’d see this article is based on less-than-zero.
This is from the Same guy in 2008 thought Hillary would make a great President and wanted to ask Oprah to be his VP.

LET US SING PRAISES TO TRUMP FROM THE TOPS OF THE MOUNTAINS.
I didn’t see any posts supporting Kasich as the VP pick, did I miss it because that is what you posted.
I agree with you 100% .. and for that reason I will be voting for Cruz in the Primary. Absolutely.
Ah, now I see how I misconstrued your post, sorry about that.
I agree. Don’t forget his saying he believes in traditional old time values before pivoting to his open-mindedness.
Michael Medved thought he won the first debate and I couldn’t believe it. I have never listened to him again. That is one good thing about this race is you can see who are establishment lapdogs.
Kasich, Bush, and Graham should be off the table for dogcatcher for the new administration. They would work to undermine the administration like Colin Powell.

Not me I’m with the other guy!!!
less than zero is running as a democrat isn’t he?
If he really wants to turn politics on its head, he’ll not go with another politician. He’ll choose another businessman.
I think he will pick Rubio , actually ?
His spats with Rubio have been rather minor and a bit humorous.
All Trump did is say he liked a single comment Kasich made. SHEESH. This is getting to be like “the Pope winked...what does it mean???”
By the book, Rubio is a good choice - young, from Florida, and hispanic.
That being said, doing things by the book hasn’t worked out pretty well for the GOP lately.
And Mr T is not running a by the book campaign.

Governor of Florida, Scott, a former business guy and delivers that state.
Trump will pick Rubio. If Hitlery gets some steam, which she won’t, Trump might pick Haley. Either way, Trump will not be picking an old white guy.
It's easy to do...not a issue..
I dont get it. She I hear trump talk about immigration, and Islamic immigration, then hear Kasich on the same subject it seems like I’m hearing two opposite positions. If Trump touts his position on immigration as a strength, how does he explain Kasich???? Are people being misled? I hate the idea of voting for a candidate in a primary only to see their VP pick afterwards to be a non identical candidate.
I know this inns not how its usually done but Cruz might be able to get an upper edge here if he shows his VP cards first. Then folks will know exactly who they are voting for, and people might feel they dont get misled by a potential Trojan horse. It has been a Trojan horse conservative who has had the past 5 GOP presidential nominations. You know...the game talkers like Mccain who sound conservative but have no substance. We should start demanding people reveal their VP picks prior to primary or we might get screwed again.
Sorry, Kasich is not solid on guns. He voted for Bubba’s gun ban in ‘94, which cannot be forgiven. And lest you forget, the House vote on that was 216-214, so his vote was not inconsequential. Anyone who voted for that steaming pile simply cannot be trusted on gun rights, no matter the rhetoric he might use today.
