Jerry DeLemus, a Trump campaign official and the husband of New Hampshire state Rep. Susan DeLemus, has arrived in Burns, Oregon â where some of his associates have taken over a visitors center at Malheur National Wildlife Reserve.
DeLemus met many of the participants, including ringleader Ammon Bundy, when he traveled cross-country to take part in the armed standoff with federal agents at the Bundy ranch in Nevada, and social media posts show he has maintained ties to the militants who took over the federal building.

Everyone needs to read ALL the article. No one was sent by the Trump campaign to Oregon to meet the protestors. Trump does not endorse this!

Thanks Aunt.
See post 6. I went and did my own homework. This is nothing but a liberal hit piece trying to tie Trump in with the Bundy’s.
If Trump somehow engineers a peaceful end to this he will come out smelling like roses.
I am no fan of Trump but there is no indication Trump is involved with or endorses this "campaign official" meeting with the protesters.
“where some of his associates”
Who’s associates?
Trump’s?
Journalism died circa 2008.

"I will say that this was not the right job for her. Because we had a ruling from the Supreme Court and we are a country of laws and you have to do what the Supreme Court ultimately, whether you like the decision or not, and it was a 5-4 decision, whether you like the decision or not, you have to go along with the Supreme Court. Thatâs the way it is."
Not exactly supportive.
I read that. Too bad all of the Trump supporters here on FR criticized Cruz to telling the militia to stand down, at least until Trump later took the same stance a few days later.
Thanks for that correction.
I was trying to give Trump some credit. But you’re right. He effed up on the Kim Davis situation.
It’s not that journalism died so to speak, as all of them are being unmasked as operatives of the DNC.

“. Too bad all of the Trump supporters here on FR criticized Cruz to telling the militia to stand down,”
Not true. I didn’t.
“Too bad all of the Trump supporters here on FR criticized Cruz to telling the militia to stand down,â
Not true. I am a Trump supporter, and I did not criticize Cruz. I thought the whole thing was done in conjunction with Obama’s announcement — help him out.
How are the Bundy’s buffoons?
Wasn’t the natural refuge building that was ‘taken over’, wasn’t it an abandoned vacant building?
Interesting how these people are portrayed as militants for occupying a wildlife preserve, but the Occupy Wall Street militants who occupied parks for months were nothing more than concerned citizens.
The Occupy Wall Street and had the support of big unions and of course of Obama and the Democrats and were allowed to occupy for months with no consequence.
These people in Oregon occupy this wildlife preserve in the same manner but are somehow militants.
As slanted as this article is I didn't see that either.
Well I’m hoping Jerry is there to talk some sense into the Bundy brothers and get them to go home. This is agreeably not the hill to die on.
So you think you know better than the judge? Have you read the background on Amanda Marshall? Do you even know who she is?
From what I am watching on the live feed, they are doing great. They have a constant stream of local ranchers driving in and out of the "compound" (please. It's a freaking gift shop and hiker rest stop.) bringing them hot soup, candy bars and other homemade goodies. They have set up tables within the "compound" and are talking with the locals, taking down their stories, and beginning the process of teaching them what was done in Nevada to get Harry Reid's goons off their back (for now). They are re-introducing the locals to the Constitution, letting them know that the Sheriff has every authority to tell the Feds and the BLM to get lost (which he won't), and they are setting up title tracing research teams to try and figure out which families have solid cases for having been thrown off their lands illegally or coercively, and give them the tools to do what Wayne Hage did previously.
The situation about the Hammonds is also being worked on, among other things, but haven't heard much about that today.
People are scared in that county. This has been going on for 25-30 years and they are well aware of what's been going on, but had no idea how to counter it. At first no one would speak on camera, but they are beginning to venture out more and more bravely. So we shall see. I'm hopeful after today. Danger's not over, they could still have the boom lowered on them at any minute, but people seem much more relaxed today.
If Trump listened to you, he’d be less than Bush and likely out of the race.
Nothing wrong with telling the press that he will travel to Oregon to make a deal with the Bundy’s to stand down. Then dominate the news cycle to draw attention to a gross miscarriage of justice by Obama’s Justice Department.
He can easily say that the law must be obeyed but that it is the responsibility of Congress and the White House to review and modify bad laws and bad execution of laws.
Then he should go for the jugular and pressure Obama to grant clemency to the ranchers while Congress reviews the incident, the law and the awful cast of characters involved in executing the law.
But you can’t think that deep can you? All you can do is offer to jerk your wad around ‘Oath Keepers’ and 3%’ers to make like you know a thing or two. It is evident you don’t know much.

Vacant but not abandoned. It is closed in the winter. It's really amazing to hear the MSM repeatedly call it an "armed takeover" when the buildings are empty. How do you do that, point your Glock at the building and say "keep your eaves in plain sight?"
Also the "armed standoff" BS. So far there has been no face to face contact with LE AFAIK. If there has been I'm sure that neither side had weapons drawn.
Rush totally nailed the media when he coined the phrase "drive-by media."
