During the White House press briefing this afternoon, one reporter explained the fight between Cruz and Trump and asked if the president was enjoying the drama around Cruz's citizenship.
"I don't know if he does, but I sure do," Earnest quipped as reporters chuckled in response.
Earnest then seemed willing to feed the narrative questioning Cruz's citizenship.
"It would be quite ironic if after 7 or 8 years of drama around the president’s birth certificate if Republican primary voters were to choose Senator Cruz as their nominee," he said. "Somebody who actually wasn’t born in the United States and only 15 months ago renounced his Canadian citizenship."

I’m betting Trump got some “street” info that the Dems were going to wait on this until just before the first primary.
Trump has not attacked Ted Cruz. All he said was, he didn’t know if the attacks an Ted Cruz’s citizenship held any water.
Only if you actually believe Obozo was born in Hawaii.
Wasn’t Trump ASKED about this situation and essentially told Cruz he needs to clear it up soon, before it becomes an even bigger issue deeper into the election cycle??

What I find amusing is how the Hussein bootlickers are sooo concerned about the Republican party.

i’m voting for cruz in the primary and either in the generals.
with enough mysognistic statements to fill a small book, Trump has his own issues.

Trump did attack Cruz on this issue. He brought it up as a problem that might disqualify Cruz.
It was a nasty thing to do and greatly reduced my respect for him.
Dems telegraphing their intent like Grayson and Colmes. But when they sue, they won’t have Orly, bless her heart, filing their suits and arguing their cases. It’s going to come from Dems in government (not private citizens) and have big court mouth-pieces hired guns.
And yet, husseins entire life is a mystery.
Somebody needs to ask Josh Earnest if Obama ever even naturalized as a US citizen.
And while they are at it, they should ask him where Loretta Fuddy is.
Trump is a Democrat who should have stuck to wrestling.

what I don’t understand is people think I or amyone would give up their voting preference over a POSSIBLE but highly unlikely big issue.
hearing about Trump saying things I want to hear makes me want to vote for him in the primary.

I don’t know what the concern is anyway. isn’t he up like 30 points right now?
obama questions citizenship? The same obama with sealed school records that leaks have shown him to be a foreign student? The one that used to be born in kenya when giving college lectures but now is born in Hawaii? That obama?
Remember the last 8 years. The courts ruled "no standing" to lawsuits. And if we are going to run away like little babies at the Dems making this an issue, we are pathetic and deserve to be ruled by the liberals.
