Donald Trump has a solution to the Miss Universe crown controversy: Share the wealth!
"What I would do is make them a co-winner, that would be very cool," the presidential candidate and former Miss Universe owner told Matt Lauer on the "Today" show Monday.
Pageant host Steve Harvey made an out-of-this-world blunder on Sunday night by mistakenly announcing Miss Colombia the winner -- before stripping her of the sash and tiara on live TV just minutes later to hand over the top prize to Miss Philippines, the true winner.
"What happened to the girl from Colombia is devastating," Trump told Lauer. "To give it to her for a couple of minutes and then take it away ... I would recommend that they go have a beautiful ceremony, which is good for the brand and good for Miss Universe, and do a co-winner. I think something like that could work."

I caught just enough to see that spiteful little sodomite judge gloat that Trump no longer owned the contest and Steve Harvey was yucking it up with him. This couldn’t have happened to a better set of scumbags.
It’s been done before. The 2002 Olympics pairs figure skating gold medal was awarded to two pairs. Not saying it’s the right way to go but it happens occasionally. How about a mud or jello wrestling match to settle it?
I was thinking the same thing last night after watching Harvey’s screw up. It is a good idea and fair to both ladies.

Well, ad much ad Dewey backed the Fair Deal, they were sort of equals. I think Dewey would have done better with Korea though.

Steve Harvey is a good guy, I love him on Family Feud I feel very sorry for him. Trump has come up with a great idea, hope the powers that be do it. Turn this into a win win.

This was a dumb mistake by the emcee and poor Miss Colombia gets humiliated. Let the pageant figure out a way to assuage her humiliation. Steve Harvey should pay for this.

Miss Philippines trained, earned and won the contest. A hired comedian goofed on naming the names, and her title should not be blemished and demeaned by taking half of it away from her because of someone else's error.
There sure are a bunch of sob sisters on this thread, worrying that the Numero Dos is SO HURT by this that she'll never recover...and that she should be given half of what she doesn't deserve because some comatose emcee erred in his announcement.
Life is NOT fair. Perhaps a genuine blow, as in this case, is something everyone faces in this tough world and then has to cope with.
For some reason, this reminds me of the old story about the liberal world, kids can play dodge ball in school gym but they can't hit anybody because someone might get "hurt". So, there's no more dodge ball and kids sit at the computer for hours instead. No one should ever be "hurt", you see.
The winner should have an untainted crown. Pay Miss Columbia off handsomely to heal her hurt and send her on her way. She'll make lots of money touring the world as the "Queen for a Minute" and will end up marrying a rich oil baron.

I feel sorry for Miss Philippines, who was deprived of her wonderful moment by an idiot.
