I assume Bush also won New Hampshire. It was practically his own back yard.

Trump will likely win New York in general election. Hillary has a better shot at Arkansas than Trump has in New York. NY hasn't voted Republican since Reagan and the demographic shift since then favors Dems. NY is not going to vote Republican in 2016 simply because the nominee is from NY.

Trump will win New York. Too bad for Hillary. She might win Illinois where she is from, but she will not win New York.
Does not matter that her campaign is headquartered in Brooklyn, does not matter if Chelsea moves to Brooklyn, Trump will still win New York. Trump needs to create a satellite office in Brooklyn just to mess with her.
Expect to see Trump on election night from Trump Tower in New York, New York, when they announce the next President of the United States.
As they say, if you can make it there, you will make it anywhere. It is up to you New York, New York!
Exciting times, Trump for the win.

She is likely to drop out of the election due to her health, and Trump will take her place if that happens.
Then it;ll be a true battle between Trump and Cruz.
Best part is the GOPe will then have no choice but to support Cruz, or suck dust watching Trump clean their clock.

Holy Toledo - this is the most shocking poll.. since Ben Franklin hooked up that kite and key to his backyard pole... Not really, RealClearPolitics had Cruz and Trump basically neck to neck in their composite charts (combination of polls). Cruz had won of the most recent polls and Trump had won the other. Cruz's numbers were shown to be trending up and Trump's fairly flat.
This wasn't a surprise to most people that followed the polls recently there in Iowa.

Well, it's really a question of whether or not I would have used my father's money to “buy politicians as the price of doing business” and used my power to attempt to take old ladies’ houses. With inherited money, and low scruples, one can accomplish a lot.

And you've never built a $10B empire. Neither has Trump. When he declared his candidacy he claimed it's in the neighborhood of $9 billion, according to a Forbes article of June 16, 2015 ("Trump Exaggerating His Net Worth In Presidential Bid," can't link it because of Forbes' website but it's accessible via search); Forbes, which tracks the worth of a lot of wealthy folks (there are about 38 dozen billionaires in the U.S.), clocked Trump at $4.1 billion. In context, his worth is 3rd tier among self-made entrepreneurs and even real estate moguls, one of whom out-earns Trump by about quadruple.
According to the Forbes article, Trump apparently values his "personal brand" alone at several billion dollars. Odd, that so many other billionaires have found even greater success without the need for a similar "personal brand."

In the general.
Cruz easily wins the GOP primary, unless someone comes up with a video of him with a sheep or something.

I believe that underneath a cover of a few “conservative” positions, trump is a liberal without any real understanding of the Constitution. I’m tired of a resident of the White House who thinks he is nearly a dictator. I would like the next president to have a greater allegiance to the Constitution.

So would I except that most everyone in the establishment and Congress and elected as POTUS sees crony capitalism and taking care of their establishment elites and lobbyists as more important than the Constitution. We don’t even declare war by an elected Congress.
