Here’s the thing this kind of stuff is irrelevant. It makes for great rhetoric on Free Republic but out in the real world Trump is standing up for what the majority of the country wants. So he will likely be given a chance to see what he do in the Whitehouse. Four years of Donald Trump will be a fantastic change from four years of Ofail.

Ronald Reagan was originally a registered democrat, a big fan of FDR and the New Deal. He was also president of the Screen Actors Guild (union) from 1947-1954 and no doubt socialized with umpteen liberals during his career. Do you hate him, also?

That sounds like the lesser of two evils rational which for years had Conservatives voting for big lib republicans.
My concerns about Trump are my concerns. I am certainly open to supporting him, but like I said - I am not ready to put on a bumper sticker yet. He makes me cheer, laugh, and sometimes I cringe. I am me and you are you - opinions vary.
If you check my posting history you will find that I am extremely concerned (and upset) over what we are doing to our children via debt and unfunded liabilities.
I am skeptical in general. Trump could be a game-changer and he is certainly unorthodox enough (and has a record) of getting things done, but it still feels like a bit of a gamble right now, but we have a long way to go. If this does not work out we get Hillary (my biggest nightmare).
I don’t always like his shtick. My opinion so not sure how you could say that is BS. In general, people who exhibit narcissism or say me and I as often as Obama rub me wrong. That is his shtick. As I ended my previous post - ABH for me anyways so beyond sharing my opinions on here it won’t matter to me. I might be in the minority here, but I like Hillary LESS than Obama if that is possible.
Some have selective memories when it comes to candidates. As we get closer to crunch time this place gets far nastier and much more mobbish if you don’t toe the party line.
Free speech can bring out the bully mob. I just go about my business, share my thoughts when I feel like it, and shake my head at the loss of thoughtful posters as the mob takes over. It’s the cycle.
Who would have ever thought that supporting Ted Cruz would bring out the venom-bots on FR? Hang in there and continue to share your thoughts - some of us don’t have the whole world figured out yet, nor are we completely sold on Trump (certainly open to it though). FRegards.
If you had the knack and skills to make so many friends world over, you might have also been a Billionaire.
That is what successful business people do...have good relationships with as many powerful people as possible.
For crying out loud Trump was not part of RNC, did not hold an elected position as a republican, and was not a partisan hack back then, so he was 100% free to make friends every where and anywhere, and donate to anyone.
But what you really need to understand is what is the main reason Trump is ahead in popularity for 2016. He is the ONLY CANDIDATE TALKING ABOUT DEPORTING ALL ILLEGALS. No other candidate is allowed to utter the word DEPORT by their rich donors. They must keep pushing for the cheap labor express as dictated by their rich donors. That includes, no deportation of illegals, more H1-B visa’s, expand number of immigrants, push for foreign trade pacts with cheap labor countries, etc. I actually feel sorry for the more conservative candidates because their hands are tied.
Go Trump 2016!!! Build the great big Wall! Deport ALL illegals!!! We can bring back those whome we choose, legally.
