Polling shows Trump to be dominant in New Hampshire, the first primary state of the nation. He's led every poll there since September, almost always by double digits and sometimes doubling or even tripling the support of his nearest rival. He edges Ben Carson in Iowa half a percentage point, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls taken there in the last month--statistically insignificant, but evidence that a Trump victory in the nation's first caucus can't be ruled out--and could likely be followed by a blowout victory in New Hampshire.
"Trump's got an organization in place," Tyler DeHaan, the chairman of Iowa's Dallas County Republican Party, told the Baltimore Post-Examiner. But he warned that the situation in Iowa is extremely fluid. "If there's one thing I'm going to predict, it's that there's a going to be a lot of volatility between now and caucus night."
And after that? A new CNN/ORC poll shows Trump running away in both South Carolina's primary and Nevada's caucuses, with Trump doubling Carson's support in South Carolina and leading Carson by 16 points in Nevada while all other candidates poll in the single digits.
The South Carolina primary and Nevada caucuses will be held within three days of each other, so a candidate winning both of them could have real momentum going into Florida, which holds its winner-take-all primary on March 15.
But Trump may not need much momentum from a string of early state wins to prevail in Florida. According to a new Florida Atlantic University poll, Trump is strengthening in Florida, with 36 percent of GOP voters backing him thus far. To put that in perspective, Trump has more support there than both of Florida's favorite son candidates, Governor Jeb Bush and Senator Marco Rubio, combined.

Cruz as AG would be the best result. From there he could also help Trump put conservatives on the SC, but he could be most effective as AG
I have my doubts that Carson will still be running after the first couple of primaries. Maybe before that.
When you consider voter’s secondary choice, Trump is now polling in the low 40’s!!!!!
In other words, if voters cannot get their first choice nominated, 30% say they will vote for Trump which puts him in the low 40’s.
Personally I think Trump will run the table. By Feb 2nd Carson will be an after thought. He’s fading now. Who is going to catch up with Trump? Nobody. Cruz and Rubio will be distant second and third.
Yes...infuriating. Such arrogance needs to be dealt with. Seriously dealt with.
Regarding Ted Cruz as VP and then President for 8yrs. Think Ronald Reagan and GHW Bush. How well did that turn out?
I think it's too late for that. The voters have spoken.
If the establishment tries to rig the primaries, Trump will see it (as will everyone else) and he will run 3rd party...and probably win.
Wait until America gets a load of Isis right here. Obama has them all in position.
It sure as hell won’t end up like Germany or Paris I’ll tell you that.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, a blowout, landslide or any remaining adjectives are far too small. TRUMP will bring a TSUNAMI across our US like nothing the congress critters have visioned before, nor likely to envision again. The turnip heads in DC are rock hard in their denial of AMERICAN virtues, policies, and religious foundations.
M-O-N-E-Y and POWER is all theirs if only they can hold on ...and their grasp is slipping away.
GO TRUMP! GO CRUZ! YOU WIN OR WE LOSE!!
Go, Trump, GO!!
Trump wins in a landslide or not at all! All signs are pointing to a blow out!
Donald Trump Speech - [non-]Crazy moments 2015 (Funny)and for the libeling broken record astroturf ******-******s:
Well, yeah.
There is a lot of garbage out there on Trump that they are waiting to dump when the time is right.
Read or listen to his unauthorized biography by Jerome Tuccille done in 1985. It really helps you to understand what’s inside Trump’s head and what makes him tick.
He is an absolutely brilliant strategist, one of the best ever. However, I don’t trust the purity of his motive. He has many ties to organized crime. It’s how he got his construction done in NYC.
Better than Hillary or Bernie hands down... I’m undecided at this point on the best Republican candidate.
You know the Dems and the GOP-e have got some operation research time bomb ready to explode on Trump. They’re just holding it until the opportune time.
The problem for them is that it won’t be enough.
Are you a ‘concern troll’?
If the establishment had any thing on Trump not already in the public eye, they would be firing all guns right now, while there might still be time to defeat him. But they’re not because they don’t have anything.
The strategy is to hold your ammunition until the opposition is within range. Blowing your load at a distance would only allow a better candidate to fill the role.
You want to have your opposition be the most vulnerable candidate so you can blast hard with new material and blindside them. If you show your hand now, the most vulnerable will either have healed the wounds and be battle hardened or be replaced by another strong candidate. Timing is everything.
Political strategy is not rocket science.
Trump is such a great strategist that I think he will purposely let some of this stuff trickle out after he is rolling and has won a few primaries or has the nomination locked in.
His whole tiff with Megan Kelly in the first debate was to position himself in favorable light with the main stream media.
Who does the main stream media hate more than a Republican candidate? Fox network that started a few years ago and took all their viewers and ad revenue! So Trump’s tiff with Fox opened the door for him to mainstream. Trump is by far one of the best strategists I have ever observed. I just don’t trust the purity of his motive.
Trump was closing hundred million dollar deals by playing hardball with the big guys when he was in his twenties! If you read about his deal making ability, this guy is nothing short of a genius.
