Ok, let's get down to brass tacks.
How long has the Islam religion been around and have they always been so hateful and violent (like so many of them are today)?
I believe they claim to be direct descendants of Abraham but I also believe that Abraham was a favorite of our one true Judeo-Christian God, and was the father or grandfather of the Jewish and Christian religions.
I have a hard time believing that our loving Judeo-Christian God is also the Islam God, Allah, whose Muslim followers seem to be so misplaced.
Haven't the warlike Muslim tribes fanned out and violently conquered every nation in their 1400 year path of conquest?
Did God command them to conquer and dominate the entire world? Did he command them to demand infidels to submit, convert or die?
Who and what are these people and who is Allah?
This Muslim violence seems to have been going on worldwide for at least 1400 years.
Could it be that Islam IS the enemy (despite Obama's many denials)?
I see Islam more and more as being “demonic”.
But yet, why is it treated like a religion?

It was toward the end of that time that I came up with my question, which, with every one of them, when they responded, I found out their true belief.
Sadly, I have done some reading on the Bacha Bazi practice. It is very sickening - the whole religion is very sick. They are the epitome of perversion, yet publicly decry homosexuality. Thanks for the info - didn’t know it was acceptable under Sharia.
I highly recommend “A History of God” by Karen Armstrong. It traces the roots of all the Abrahamic religions and their paths. According to the book, and it’s very well-written and persuasive, Islam was created by Middle Easterners who were very familiar with Judaism and Christianity and felt left out and small without a god of their own. So, enter Islam.
In the beginning, they were quite peaceful and prosperous and got along famously with Jews, though there was tension with Christians very early on. It wasn’t until a few hundred years of existence that they turned nasty and intolerant and these actions were, as most negative religious behaviors are, over territory. After a fairly prolonged period of success, they got their asses handed to them and entered a long period of relative quietude and navel gazing.
But their pride was brutally damaged and they lived through centuries of being bitter at the Western world, but were impotent to do much about it.
All of the trouble in the world right now can be traced to this fact. Their true purpose is to restore their sense of pride. Muslims murder their own children to save face. Even they do not truly understand that “false pride” is the true motivation. However, this is the true issue that inspires radicalism.
The very existence of the West humiliates Islam. Our activities in the Middle East in the last 30 years have awakened Muslims from their navel gazing. For many people, including myself, this is laughable, but Muslims see themselves as the inventors of science, civilization, and military might.
Faced with the reality that they have fallen way behind, much like looking at oneself in the mirror, one must make a choice. Namely, admit that you are fat and ugly, or break the mirror. Muslims choose the latter.
