I think I did notice that but didn't think twice.
I can imagine they'd leave an option to video conference between the staff and the table. But, you're right, there is room for abuse here.
Yes; I know. I was saved when I was 10 after one of Dad’s sermons, attended Seminary, was married a minister, and am active in our Baptist church.
Re “jury still out”: When it comes to SDA, I’ve known a few who were questioning the SDA tenets and did “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” in order to be saved. They got into the Bible and questioned the focus on “works” and legalism over grace. I believe it’s possible they may be saved. Since we really don’t know precisely what is in any person’s heart (well, we DO know some are overtly evil, especially in D.C.!) we may have to wait until Heaven to know if these people settled the status of their salvation. For those who may have been in a state of transition when I knew them, the jury is out; I just don’t know for sure.
I vaguely recall that in one of the Epistles, someone in the Bible mentioned Old Testament Parables?
Regardless, many of the oral traditions are crammed with intriguing Bible Codes, and I’ve noticed a sincere effort in the oral traditions to remember the past even if they fail to make much sense from a modern day perspective.
Thanks. I’ll think of something else.
Wrong. This debate focused more on issues so we were actually able to hear a few details tonight.
Trump, and Carson to some extent, stand apart from the rest as they are not polished politicians that are simply rehearsed to regurgitate the same boring crap over and over.
An example of that is Carly Fiorina and her zero-based budgeting coma inducing rhetoric.
One thing IS for sure. There will be a lot of surprised folks in Heaven becasue they were not aware of the vastness of the grace of God nor the total efficacy of the blood of Jesus.
We’re so used to judging others. But we were ALL judged 2000 years ago on the body of Jesus Christ. Everyone’s sin has already been judged (1 Jn 2:2). God isn’t judging anyone’s sins anymore. We are way out of wack when we judge others. We actually unwittingly become part of Satan’s army of accusers of the brethren.
The only thing left for Baptists, Mormons, Episcopalians, Jihadists, Muslims, Atheists, Child Molesters, Murderers, etc. to do is “Call upon the name of the Lord and they will be saved” (Act 2:21, Rom 10:13). The ONLY issue and question for time and eternity is, “What have you done with Jesus?”. Jesus IS the answer.
Carson is not Jehovah’s witness, but Seventh Day Adventist.
One evidence of “cult” is that the Bible takes a back seat to a charismatic person and often that person’s writings which are deemed equal to, or more important than, the Bible. SDA’s person is Ellen G. White and her writings.
SDA practices shunning, also an attribute of a cult. (Christianity reaches out with love.)
There’s so much more. The study of cults is interesting.
Yes; Saturday is the Sabbath and under the Law in the Old Testament and Jews worshipped then. Under grace, following Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, the first day of the week became the Christians’ day of worship. (In the New Testament, only nine of the 10 Commandments are repeated and confirmed. The only one that isn’t confirmed is to “remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.)
In any case, I don’t care if the President belongs to a cult, as long as he strictly honors the Constitution. I believe Carson is a wonderful person with good character and I’d have no problem with him as President, cult member or not, if he’s passionate about the Constitution. Still... I’m for Trump!!
I was not trying to be rude or anything its just that even though I like Ted Cruz I’m a business person and I’ve dealt with his type of tax before. Its a poor idea but it scores well price wise.
People need to get their head around the reality that its going to cost some money to dig America out of the ditch. We are in really bad shape. Trump’s plan in the beginning is more expensive but it will make for a faster recovery and broad economic expansion so it will all even out at some point. Millions of people have to go back to work.
Cruz getting rid of 5 departments would free up a little money for defense. Did you know our military is now using other nation’s ships and helos?
First, I said MOST of the other candidates. Ideally, Cruz would be the safest bet as a conservative candidate yet he is lacking something that would be fatal in the general election IMO. He lacks charm or charisma or that something that appeals to the masses. He seems to be more of a lecturer than an inspiration.
I'm reading through Trump's book 'Crippled America' which certainly has more details than we've heard on the stump yet. It's a good read and perhaps worth your time.
Have you considered there are people who consider Trump winning simply due to the fact he is unlike the rest of the establishment retreads on the floor?
Look what running with these same tired politicians has gotten us?
Do we really need to listen to the rehearsed tripe from the likes of Rubio and Fiorina?
Jeb? Yea, he's just a disaster.
Cruz? I like him alot but worry that he can't win in the general. Hillary would roll over him.
Kasich? /Facepalm for days.
Carson? He seems to like pyramids and pyramid schemes. No sale.
Wonderful story! Thank you!
So, you got nuthin’.
Yes, there are laws on the books. They will be challenged and tied up in courts for years.
nuthin ? he supported the gang of 8, sees no need for a wall and kisses the Kraut’s ass daily, .......that there is sumpthin
What are you smoking? illegals are big money donors?
if Cruz is so strong on illegal immigration, show me his plan for the illegals here. I’ve asked every Cruz supporter who bashes Trump this question, and nobody knows. There’s not a single article or interview about it. Even last night, he side-stepped it. His answer was brilliant and correct, but he left out a crucial point.
I think she was just going for that "I just had sex" look.
That broad moderator must be a Hillary supporter.
Maria Bartiromo is a proven NY liberal through and through.
Bartiromo or Fiorino? They both have the same fish lips and talk with a lisp because of them.
I hate these Leftist moderators who think this debate is about them.
And this was supposed to be a debate that was free of moderator bias. Go figure, and how ironic.
