The 'kiddie table'at 7 p.m.: Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
The main event at 9 p.m.: Donald Trump of New York, Dr. Ben Carson of Florida, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina of California, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
FBN described the debates and moderators:

Yes - I support Cruz 100%.
The reason I say that the Trump people act like the Paul people of the past is that Ron Paul would often win online polls before they even opened. You knew there were some Paul supporters who would spam the poll until it lost all credibility.
No objective viewer of last night’s debate could say that Trump won. The funny thing is, even when I point out - OBJECTIVELY - good points made by candidates who I want out of the race, people SCREAM. I have no love for Rand, but if I say he made a good point, people freak the hell out. Same thing with Carly. Or Rubio. I was pretty even handed in my analysis of good/bad points, and that never fails to offend the Trump people.
“Say what you want, Trump’s positions are more conservative than most of the other candidates.”
Care to elaborate? Start with 5 points where you think Trump is more conservative than, say, Cruz.
So how my paraphrase misrepresent what you posted? You disgard that an honorable candidate was slandered. You don’t seem to care that Trump taunted him when being slandered and said nothing on behalf of him after the lies were uncovered.
Instead, you say ‘CULT’ member, or am I quoting someone else?
Thank you! I’ve been saying that the last two debates. Ted is good 90% of the time but his constant use of single mom analogies and his father being a Cuban immigrant are annoying. Ted’s courtroom theatrics come through at all the wrong times. On the other hand, notice Trump never mentions anything about his family upbringing, his mom dad or whoever. Occasionally Ivanka. Trump has confidence in himself and talks about his successes which none of the others ever do.
I’m really not well-informed to be honest, and I apparently don’t need to be:
Is Carson a Jehovas Witness?
They say Jesus was crucified on a stake, and that Saturday is the true Sabbath. Both claims are scripturally accurate BTW. One vague scripture does refer to the Cross as a stake, and good Christians were indeed tortured for blasphemy when correctly pointing out the true Jewish Sabbath.
If any religion is a cult, one that villifies accurate scripture is closer to the mark than a Jehova’s Witness.
My only beef with Jehova Witnesses is their effort to feel superior due to such minor criticisms of other churches.
In my view, Sunday is perfectly acceptable since God miraculously granted Constantine a victory on Sunday. So I don’t feel as critical of Sunday Christians as I used to. The ‘stake’ scripture is too obscure. Jesus was crucified on a cross IMO. And ‘Jehova’ is a corrupted form of antiquated spelling — better pronounced ‘Yaweigh’.
But to call them a ‘cult’? Why, exactly? Do they use protein depravation and long periods of isolation? Was Carson abducted to some compound or something and brainwashed? What techniques were used?
Agreed and Rubio and Fiorina want to mix it up with Russia in Syria also. It would be insane.
Apparently you have never owned a small business. There is no such thing as a new idea and Ted’s VAT tax is not new. I had the same thing when my office was located in DeKalb County, GA. County tax almost identical to TEd’s. I just lied like a dog on the tax form or it would have cost me a fortune. It was a totally unfriendly business tax.
Ted Cruz has never owned or operated a business or even worked in the private sector that I know of. Donald Trump has and he knows what is good for business and what is bad. His tax plan is the better one to jumpstart the economy. Its much more small business friendly.
Your ego is BIGGER but not better than Trumps. :-)
There is nothing to see through with Trump, he puts himself out there.
I am primarily a 4 time donating Cruz supporter.
Cruz has been too Borked this time around to get the nomination IMO. They have been battering away at his public image for 2 years at least.
Trump has similar goals and seems slam proof. I think it is going to be Trump with a Cruz VP:
I am confused. Isn’t the VAT tax simpler and less cumbersome for small business? Are you saying that the trump proposal with whatever deductions etc. is much better for small business no matter how confusing the tax code is. I am just curious and look forward to your response.
Your condescension completely negates ANY point you try to prove.
You can go to dictionary.com to look that word up ;-)
Trump trumps your guy(s) Pander and Cruz....all day...on immigration (D-E-P-O-R-T, Wall), VA, 2A and even his (realistic) tax plan.
Not to mention the YUGE crowds he attracts and his (historic) run as the GOP frontrunner.
Do Cruz and Paul have strengths? You bet. But, again, your bashing Trump supporters does NOTHING to prop your guy(s) up.
Good day. And, if you’re a vet....thank you for your service.
So ... I point out that Trump is so popular because he’s a TV personality, and you tell me to “eat shit and die”?
I was disappointed that Cruz’ VAT tax and Carson’s PR statehood didn’t come up in the John KaSick debate ;-)
Trump will be in Beaumont, TX this coming Saturday. I’m going to try and make it.

What does the Holy Spirit say to us? That ALL of us as believers are forever forgiven and made righteous by the spilling of Jesus' perfect blood in His eternal sacrifice. No believer is bound by the judgments or condemnation of others. God has already declared the final verdict in his New Covenant of grace.
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I make with them after those days, says the Lord, I put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds I write them; And their sins and iniquities I remember no more (Heb 10:15-17).
Look, you can try to excuse Trump on this issue all you like, and you can try to support the insane “Get over eminent domain” argument, which is no argument at all.
The bottom line is that our founders recognized the right to private property as essential to freedom. I will not support any candidate who fails to agree.
“The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the law of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.”—John Adams
“The true foundation of republican government is the equal right of every citizen in his person and property and in their management.” —Thomas Jefferson
“The political institutions of America, its various soils and climates, opened a certain resource to the unfortunate and to the enterprising of every country and insured to them the acquisition and free possession of property.” —Thomas Jefferson
Under Trump’s plan business’s are taxed on their profits which is as it should be. 15% is fair and competitive.
Under Cruz’s plan he is giving the individual a flat 10% tax rate which is really too low. So in order to get a good score from the CBO he has to make up ground somewhere else so he is taking it from Business. The way he is doing it is to tax business’s on their gross receipts which means all money they take in. Then he lets them deduct expenses but not wages. So now if you own a business you will be paying 16% on the wages you pay your employee. Then you will pay 16% on your wages and then another 10% on your individual return. How many new employees will you hire? Its a small business killer. Taxes should be on profits. Ask yourself how great is Ted’s tax plan for a small guy/gal just starting up and trying to get a business going? I will tell you its not good.
Trump understands business and how it works and what is business friendly. His plan is a jobs creator. Plus bringing back all that offshore money is a must.
It’s way past time for that-—good grief. Why are they still bothering with this kiddie table nonsense? If some of these candidates can’t cut it and make the real debate, it’s time to go.
Cruz was totally awesome. He rocked. :)
The country is seeing the real Cruz, finally. He’s distinguishing himself as a forceful alpha candidate who’s also intellectually brilliant. I thought he eviscerated Kasich.
Let’s just hope the nominee doesn’t think he need KA-SICK to win OH and makes him the V.P. choice as a result.
Hey guys... gals... you two ;)
We can agree Cruz gave a great answer while still liking Trump’s plan better.
Cruz said NOTHING about what to do with the illegals here. I find his silence on this disturbing. bSo, I’ll go with the candidate that will not give them amnesty.
By the way, I’ve been told that lots of people on social media came over to Cruz’s side last night as a result of the debate.
