Two debates tonight on CNBC live from the Coors Event Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
The 'kids table' started just after 6 p.m. EDT with Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC), Gov. Bobby Jindal (LA), former Gov. George Pataki (NY), and former Sen. Rick Santorum (PA).
The main event at 8 p.m. EDT will feature Donald Trump (NY), Dr. Ben Carson (Fl), Sen. Marco Rubio (FL), former Gov. Jeb Bush (FL), Carly Fiorina (CA), Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), former Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR), Gov. Chris Christie (NJ), Gov. John Kasich (OH), and Sen. Rand Paul (KY).
Moderators for both debates are: John Harwood, Carl Quintanilla, and Becky Quick.
Well recall that our discussion was related to Trump’s remarks. I trust under Trump things to change. I don’t argue that my opinion works under Obama. I didn’t suggest that. I was relating that in a Trump presidency I trust our immigration standards will rise.
Cruz sounds like a tent meeting minister. I like tent meetings and ministers, but they won’t beat Hillary.
Fiorina with a funny one:
“In your heart of hearts, you KNOW you really wanna see ME debate Hillary Clinton...”
But ya know what..?
That impassioned slam by Cruz against the divisive US media was pretty mind-blowing.
And the other memorable thing was that as usual, Trump was unrehearsed EVEN ON HIS CLOSING STATEMENT..!!! Amazing..!
Sessions is my senator. I might write him and mention a few of these things. Trump definitely needs to become more consistent on a few points of his immigration policy, or he will hurt himself with some supporters.
Trump's more a promoter and still shoots from the hip occasionally (he has improved on that a great deal). He could win this thing handily if he'd sharpen some of his positions and be consistent. And he could get more done as president than anyone else.
Trump gives a great final statement and CNBC is petty.
I’ll put you down in the “Americans are too dumb to do the work” column.
Trump just won the debate with an exclamation point!
ROFL!
You mean she interrupts and TAKES the lion-share of the questions.
so true
Trump gave Harwood a nice parting slap on the debate length.
and lying
Trump takes them down one last time. And then they lie.
That moderator lied his toupee off. It was in the press that the debate was three hours until Trump (and others) insisted it was too long.
It was a beat-down of EPIC proportions. Made me cheer LOUDLY and my family come running to see what I was cheering about.
I can’t understand the hatred for Kasich. Why not direct hatred toward someone who has actually ruined the country?
Then Hillary will win...
Country is dead anyway and it will take a very special man to prevent or even slow the decline.
Trump is not that man.
In retrospect, the problems of the country are caused not by the elite or the politician, but by the electorate who fawns at their BS and gives them power over their lives without thinking at all.
IMO, if Hillary is what the electorate wants, then they shall have her. They in fact deserve her.
I did enjoy Christie’s crack about the moderator being rude even for New Jersey.
Trump just threw the podium off the stage and hit the Moderator in the head!!!
KO.....
