Rove to GOP: 'Don't choose a nominee that reflects populist outrage'
Washington Examiner ^ | 10/22/15 | GABBY MORRONGIELLO

Longtime political strategist Karl Rove is warning Republicans not to nominate a presidential candidate that reflects the same "populist anger" that gave birth to the rise of Donald Trump.

In his latest op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, Rove explained the GOP will have two choices when delegates gather in Cleveland, Ohio, next July to determine which remaining Republican hopeful they wish to see challenge Democrats in the general election.

"Will the party choose a nominee with a conservative agenda or one reflecting populist anger?" Rove wrote.

"The two are hardly the same," he noted. "Conservative principles provide a winning path to the White House. Populist outrage alone will end in defeat."

Rove to GOP: 'Don't choose a nominee that reflects populist outrage'

Hey Rove! F*** You!

*YOU* are a big part of the problem with what is currently wrong with the nation. Someone should have beaten your @$$ a long time ago.

Rove: Don’t listen to the actual VOTERS! What do THEY know?

For an excellent article on that very subject read the latest issue of IMPRIMUS. It's free from Hillsdale College.

It was actually rather funny.

I’d be commenting on a thread totally unrelated to Bush and his followers couldn’t take a pass on trashing me totally off topic.

If I’d call them on it, three or four others would swoop in.

At least four years after Bush was out of office, I had one guy assure me he had been a better president than Reagan.

Remember when Rove was a magnificent bastard? I wonder who changed ... him or us?L

No. I remember when that stupid SOB barely eeked out a couple of wins by moderating the message until most people didn't give a sh*t who won.

I remember the jackass then crowing about his great accomplishment because he managed to barely edge over the line by luck.

Rove should have been punched repeatedly in the face years ago, and he should have never been granted the credibility he has manufacture for himself.

He's not a political guru genius, he's a f***ing arrogant fool who is as clever as the rooster taking credit for the Sunrise.

Rove is crap. Rove has always been crap. Rove is the biggest problem the Bush administration ever had.

isn’t it about time for old Karl to have an accident ?

He HAD an accident, a 430 million dollar accident last election cycle when he spent all that cash, and did not win ONE RACE (Donald Trump quote).

And when that 'accident' happened, Rove landed right on his fat f--kin' head which was already sustaining brain damage.

Then, his guy Jeb has as much chance of getting elected as I do. How does he plan to address that?

Rove is working for Jeb? No wonder I would rather see Hillary win than Jeb. Rove is the kiss of death.

Rove should go advise Democrats. If anyone needs to move to the squishy middle, it's those bastards.

Take a long walk off a short pier, Karl.

No. The George W. Bush term was very not conservative. We never had such a spending party as was ushered in by George W. Bush, until we got this current ignorant idiot.

Karl Rove's fingerprints are probably all over the Bush spending party.

Yes, choose someone like McCain or Romney who won’t put up a fight to deny the first female candidate her place in the sun.

After all, the GOP wouldn’t want a candidate who could, you know, actually win or anything.

Rove is the kiss of death.

Interestingly or sadly, the main guy that he took to the Big Show...or they took each other...won X 2. I never realized how bad for the country George W. was until he was out of office.

I still can't imagine how bad it would have been if we had Gore for eight years or Kerry. That may have been the only really important thing W. ever accomplished...that and the hanging of Saddam Hussein, which should have been deliberately broadcast to the world.

These days I only hope he's the kiss of death. Unfortunately, when I want a guy to win so bad I can taste it, that's the real kiss of death. I won't say, other than he is still in the race, who I want to win other than it isn't Trump. I don't want his supporters to get discouraged. (I guess saying "his" means it isn't Carly.)

The “compassionate” conservatism of Geo W Bush was Liberalism.

Everything Bush did, Obama built upon and did better. From NSA/Drones/Amnesty/Big Govt Healthcare/Planned Parenthood/bank bailouts — you name it.

Rove and Bush funded Planned Parenthood, covertly, for eight years. Lied about it. And the selling of baby parts was going on that whole time, too.

Rove is playing a tricky little propaganda game called “Hegelian Dialectics” on the definition of “conservatism” to trick us about Trump by labeling him an “angry populist”.

A few months ago on Fox, I heard a commentator say that Jeb was “conservative” and I almost choked. Rove and the GOPe are desperate to redefine the meaning of conservatism now that Trump is the most conservative candidate in the GOP lineup.

Rove’s trying to separate out the meaning of “conservatism” against our understanding of “populist anger” to blind us from the understanding that Trump is now the most conservative candidate in the line up since Cruz’s treasonous votes.

I’ll repeat the meme that Rove is DESPERATE that we do not believe, because it it now true:

Donald Trump is the most conservative candidate in the GOP lineup, since Cruz’s treasonous votes.

Plus,Trump had more foreign policy foresight than either the Dems or the GOP when Trump accurately warned about 9/11 over a year before it happened.

Trump’s Mexican Wall plans thwart the NWO designs of Rove and Bush and the UN Establishment bankers who want us to be the “North American Union.”

Rove needs to stop working for the Devil. ( I jest not.)

There’s a long tradition he’s following

“Democrats are for the working man”
“Liberals are the people who believe in liberty and freedom’

It’s classic propaganda technique. Redefine the word/meaning on your terms. See “Douvlespeak”.
