Clinton Aide Shared Classified Information With Foundation, Email Shows

A member of Hillary Clinton’s staff at the Department of State emailed classified information about the government in Congo to a staffer at the Clinton Foundation in 2012, according to a copy of the correspondence obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s chief of staff at the State Department, sent the email to the Clinton Foundation’s foreign policy director, Amitabh Desai, on July 12, 2012.

The message, which was originally obtained by the group Citizens United through a public records request, is partially redacted because it includes “foreign government information” that has been classified as “Confidential” by the State Department.

Although the information was not marked classified by the State Department until this past summer, intelligence sources tell the Free Beacon that it would have been classified at the time Mills sent it because “foreign government information” is considered classified from inception.

The message could add to concerns from congressional and FBI investigators about whether former Secretary Clinton and her aides mishandled classified information while at the State Department.

The email, which discussed the relationship between the governments in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, was originally drafted by Johnnie Carson, the State Department’s assistant secretary for African affairs, who sent it to Mills’ State Department email address.

Mills later forwarded the full message to Desai along with “talking points for Presient [sic] Clinton” shortly before Bill Clinton was scheduled to visit the region.

Now, Congo is a major ally with the US, particularly militarily,and many other covert operations between the US and Congo. For example, Hillary's aide compromised a major covert operation and classified intelligence on the whereabouts of Bush Meat that the Congo government utilized to track down and consume violating many UN laws and regulations which Hillary is liable for so, that's just another fallout from the email server scandal.

You know .... where Cheryl is concerned, I wouldn’t mind that at all; however, if she thinks she’s going to be a picture on a milk carton, maybe she’ll “do something” to keep that from happening. I don’t think Hilly’s all that bright, but I think Cheryl is plenty smart. I also think the arrogance of power that the Clintons have developed over years from ‘getting away with murder’ (and rape, lying, bribery, et al) has also rubbed off on Cheryl - she’s lied to Congress before and nothing happened to her. Hillary’s top aides-—Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills-—used their privileged tax-paid positions at the State Dept to cash-in-—they romped all over the State Dept looking for money-making opportunities .....like it was their private playground.

Cheryl Mills the Clinton’s longtime fixer, apparently collected a paycheck from NYU at the same time she was Hillary's COS at the State Department. After joining the State Department in the beginning of 2009, Mills continued to serve as NUY's general counsel for several months.

Mills also sat on the board of the “NYU in Abu Dhabi Corporation,” the fundraising arm for the university’s UAE satellite campus. The school is bankrolled by the Abu Dhabi government and has been criticized by NYU professors and human rights activists for alleged labor abuses.

NOTE WELL: The UAE is a major funder of the Clinton Foundation, on whose board Mills sat. The article quotes NLPC Chairman Ken Boehm:“Federal of conflict interest statutes are very strict, and they want to ensure that federal employees, especially very senior special employees like Cheryl Mills, do not have any conflicts of interest in any matter that they have a hand in,” said Boehm.
