Will this Pope visit Kate Steinle's killer in jail?

Wash his feet?

.. people who are trying to improve their lives and those of their families.

On the backs of US taxpayers ... sorry, Pope Francis - take your south-of-the-border mindset and keep it ....

Catholics do not have to have “blind obedience” to this Pope. I’m Catholic and I’m not buying what he’s selling.

Typical, I don’t think he would be saying that if all the muslims were going to Vatican City.

I don’t see any immigrants living at the Vatican. The Pope is a hypocrite, a typical liberal that says to do what he says but not follow what he does.

I love how the open borders crowd always assign bad intentions to those who favor the rule of law.

Right up Obama’s alley.

Mark Levin to the Pope: Climate Change? What about the Christians being raped and slaughtered by ISIS?

Yes, and there’s specific legal procedures that all those people that wish to move to the US to better their lives have to go thru.

We’re talking about cracking down on the cheats and criminals, all the people who DON’T bother to go thru those legal procedures, but instead, just decide to illegally jump over the border.

There’s a big difference between the two, Pope Francis, and it doesn’t seem like you appreciate that.

"Building a nation calls us to recognize that we must constantly relate to others, rejecting a mindset of hostility in order to adopt one of reciprocal subsidiarity,"

What exactly does this have to do with immigration policies?

If he were a conservative Christian would he have been invited to speak to Congress? Of course not. But because he is a Leftist, this South American busy-body can come tell us how to run our country. Why didn’t he stay in Argentina and fix its poverty instead of telling the U.S. taxpayers to import the poor from Leftist Catholic countries that are chronically inept at running their governments.

Was Popa ‘hostile’ to the idea of meeting with Cuban dissidents? And shouldn’t the Catholic Church be doing more to help the ‘oppressed peoples’ in Central and South America? Franklin Graham is more worthy of being a Pope in that regard.

He’s almost an hour into the speech and has hit all the democrat talking points. Could be Obama talking. Stressed abolishing the death penalty, which is allowed in the Bible, but has not mentioned the word abortion. Really disgusting listening to leftist pope talk.

"They" already have!

Check the story somewhere yesterday, the day before, etc. that the Vatican had given JEB their Presidential blessing.

There are some here in FR with such devotion to this pope they believe blind obedience is the only acceptable response.

From this statement I can only conclude that you and I are reading two distinct FR forums...

Poppycock! Every nation has a right and a responsibility to set an immigration policy and enforce it. Illegal aliens need to be prosecuted and expelled.
