Donald Trump put NBC’s “Today” show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie on the defensive Monday during a live telephone interview when he called the network out for promoting a CNN poll over an NBC poll because the billionaire had a smaller margin in the CNN survey. The exchange occurs at minute 4:36 of the 5:35-minute interview.

“The only poll you didn't put up was the NBC poll where I'm way at the top, I’m much more than double,” said Trump. “I don't understand why NBC is using a CNN poll, which was also a good poll, I'm leading by a lot.
“Why aren't you talking about your own poll? Why are you showing a CNN poll, which is very good, but not as good as the one you put up yesterday?” Guthrie acknowledged that “I should have mentioned the NBC poll by name.”
Trump didn’t let it go. “You put up the CNN poll, you didn't put up NBC poll and you’re the ones that are paying for the NBC poll so I don't get it other than in the NBC poll is a very good poll for Trump.”
The CNN poll, conducted in the days after the second Republican debate, found that Trump continues to lead the pack of GOP presidential candidates, but that he dropped eight points, going from 32 percent support to 24 percent. In that same poll, Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina jumped from 3 percent to 15 percent.
In the NBC poll, Trump’s margin over Fiorina was much larger (29 percent to Fiorina’s 11 percent) and the billionaire gained 7 points from a month earlier when that poll showed him with 22 percent support of Republicans and independents.

These media types are total low life vermin snakes. Totally dishonest. I would love to know how these media types deal with themselves behind closed doors. How do they drown their consciences? Do they take antidepressants like m&m’s? Do they do illegal drugs? Can they sleep? I suspect they all need some serious drugs to cope with their dishonesty.
Wasn’t clear. The NBC talking head didn’t promote her own company’s poll over that of a competitor’s because the competitor’s poll made Trump look worse.
Thus ideology umm, er, “trumps” her loyalty to the outfit that signs her paycheck.
With liberal-leftists, ideology uber alles.
I’m willing to from now on refer to DT as “President Elect Donald Trump”

Good for Trump for throwing the NBC poll back in that newsreader’s face! And I love how he came back at her with it 3 times and didn’t let her roll back to her line of questioning about the fake muslim controversy.
My only thought was it would have been better to hit back about the NBC poll at the top of the interview when she was first citing the CNN poll. It’s almost as if someone handed him a piece of paper later on that said “They ignored their own poll which showed you surging and only cited the CNN one.” I suppose this is one of his advantages in doing phone interviews... he may have some back-up helpers in the room with him to help him keep the “journalists” on their toes. Smart move.
That’s how you do it folks. That’s how you cut them up, expose them, humiliate them....that’s why Trump wins.
A lot of these lefty anchors are using the CNN poll so they can say Trump is slowly dropping in the polls.
I don’t think Donald had someone hand him a piece of paper. What he likes to do is hold punches, and then slam you with them later. He knows that revenge is best served cold. He’s like a lion. He lays on his prey. Good moves both.

Trump is exposing the cesspool. If you do not like him. You are missing what he is doing.
None of the others would have the pure guts to do this.
The word “Blast” is always over used in article headlines.
But Trump does have a good beef here for criticism.
CNN according to Freepers, changed their polling methodology from previous CNN polls to get the desired outcome for the liberal talking heads to use against Trump.

Trump is absolutely right! Fox does the very same thing when another poll fits their agenda over their own poll and I have complained about it.
CNN poll is the first not great poll for Trump, it`s out there now, kind of like a wink to the other MSM pollsters, that will keep the CNN poll in their mind as they re work their own poll to fit the same agenda.
I was predicting and expecting and waiting for this. It`s not like the pollsters are in communication with each other, it`s just pollsters intuition shall we say.
