Real estate mogul Trump has widened his lead to 20 points in a brand new Zogby Analytics poll taken after the second Republican presidential debate. The new poll of 405 likely Republican primary/caucus voters nationwide with a margin of sampling error of +/- 5.0 percentage points, conducted September 18-19, shows Mr. Trump with 33% (up 2 points from his pre-debate 31%). In second place is neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson who actually dropped 3 points to 13%.

I agree.
I like several of the candidates. All would be a gift compared to Obama. But, at this point in time, I believe that Mr. Trump would be the one who could immediately solve some of the problem, and eventually tackle most of the rest.
I truly hope that he can mellow out, ignore the arrows as much as possible, and only hit back when necessary, but in a professional way.
He is a New Yorker, with a New York attitude, but I pray that he can learn to filter out what he is thinking when he speaks as this campaign continues.
BTTT
You don’t know much about statistics, do you?
Actually, the reason Zogby has any name recognition at all is because he nailed the numbers for a presidential election (I forget which one). He had his fifteen minutes, then went over to the dark side.
With all the talk about Carly, she's only at 7%?? The way the MSM was playing it - thought she was passing up Trump.
“I am sure its the lead on the Kelly File , Monday”
I bet she talks about the CNN poll.
Paying much attention to polling at this point in the race is like celebrating after the first 20 laps of the Daytona 500. Outside of news junkies and people who really pay attention to politics most of the country is not paying much attention.
With that said, one surprising trend that the MSM ignores is that Trump appears to be picking up voters who usually vote or identified as democrat. The main reason appears to be immigration. Will see if the MSM continues to ignore what appears obvious - voters in both parties, including a sizeable number of African Americans, don’t want more immigrants.
I wish Cruz had a better chance, but at this point, Trump seems to be the better bet, all things considered.
If nothing else, keep the GOPe choices out of the picture.
Fiorina is toast when her facts of her dissasterous CEO performances, self enrichment and moving jobs oversees continue to reach an evermore widening audience.
The MSM and establishment (both parties) can’t stop the Social Media end around. The damn has broken, yet they continue on in their arrogance.
Their once formidable influence, has given way to revulsion, disgust, repulsion, abhorrence, repugnance, nausea, horror, aversion and abomination, but they still continue as if nothing has changed.
Just how bad is it? Nearly everyone in the media is corrupt. Trump’s candidacy has outted so many “conservatives” as nothing more than capos, soldiers or associates in the cabal. I can count on one hand those who have not been corrupted e.g. Mark Levin.
Does zogby still do internet polling?
Megyn Crowley will open her 15 minute crap on Trump segment still talking about the Hillary plant at the Townhall.
Trump lives in her head. She probably thinks Trump all night long.
Yahoo “news” proclaims he lost some in the polls. However the “news” part is pure fiction so the rest may be too.
This cycle is a little different, as Trump is setting records for cable networks, quintupling or more the usual primary debate audiences. So more people are paying attention... I think the big question is whether people turn on Trump or not before the voting gets started. If it’s not him, then I think the nomination is totally up in the air and it could be a long primary season.
The way he is with so called warts and all is why he is winning by such a large margin. He knows exactly what he is doing.
The Fiorina surge is a CNN fabrication.
It only exists in the CNN poll of ‘adults’.
no clue.
Just the two semesters of it I had to take for a double major in Computer Science and Math.
If Trump did nothing else, he has called out the press ... they are sputtering in rage and longing for revenge but they can’t seem to get it.
I think that accounts for a lot of the Trump love.
None of the polls I’ve read seem to bear much relation to the debate performance.
