I like several of the candidates. All would be a gift compared to Obama. But, at this point in time, I believe that Mr. Trump would be the one who could immediately solve some of the problem, and eventually tackle most of the rest.
I truly hope that he can mellow out, ignore the arrows as much as possible, and only hit back when necessary, but in a professional way.
He is a New Yorker, with a New York attitude, but I pray that he can learn to filter out what he is thinking when he speaks as this campaign continues.
The way he is with so called warts and all is why he is winning by such a large margin. He knows exactly what he is doing.
I agree. Trump is a great CEO. Identify the problem and hire the best people to solve it.
The minute Trump decides to play it safe and use a politician’s filter, that’s the minute he loses his support.
The reason Trump is resonating is that he sounds like a real person. Marco Rubio and Carly Fiorina are both masters of the sound bite, and the wonkish, urbane patter that used to play so well is now starting to be recognized as the huffing and bleating of RINOs.
We FReepers are political junkies who pay way, way more attention to what’s going on then the average Joe or Josephine who is going to cast a vote in the primaries or the general.
Regular, non political types I talk to who are supporting Trump do so because he sounds authentic and has made issues like the border wall and gun rights that rank and file everyday Americans support his bread and butter.
Let Trump be Trump. Nobody wants a polished wonk. The average voter is looking for a street fighter to kick the asses and take the names of the sort of weasels with gravitas that have been kicking the American people in the teeth for decades and telling us its a pat on the back, with gravitas.
He is a New Yorker, with a New York attitude,
he’s in Utica not much there but a state college where he probably works. nice town tho
i would only trust him with a cruz as his leader
