The GOP presidential debate winner Wednesday night was dominant front-runner Donald Trump, a Newsmax Poll finds.
In early results from a poll of Newsmax TV viewers, the billionaire businessman logged 64 percent support, while former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina came in second, with 12 percent.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third with 6 percent.

Yep.
That’s the key, here. Break the BigGov lawlessness. Everything from the gunrunning to Mexican drug gangs to illegal immigration is caused by BigGov. Lois Lerner is still collecting a check.
Trump is a little thinker. He’s going after the symptom while he reinforces the cause. All his solutions involve more government and more government intrusion.
See for yourself: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions/immigration-reform
Plus, Trump has positions that Walker has taken already, but doesn’t get credit for.
Every conservative knows that more government means less individual. Those are the facts.
Go Trump!
During the primary its our duty to elect the best candidate to lead our country who can DEFEAT the RATs. Cruz would be my 1st choice. He’s not going to win. Wish he was but he’s not.
Screw who’s popular. I want a leader who’s going to take out the trash of the last 25 years of progressive policies inflicted upon us. Right now that leader appears to me to be Trump. If he ONLY takes care of the illegal immigration nightmare our nation will be the better for it.
Have a good day now. Peace :)
Cruz’s 500% increase in H1B visas is hurting him.
You're seriously comparing a border wall, border enforcement, increased number of border patrol agents, an American first workers policy, as "more government" that will not solve the problem of illegal immigration? That's as far as I can figure with you just randomly linking to Trump's immigration platform. If so, you're dumber than a box of rocks and you should stop posting.
Can you imagine the caterwauling if a President Trump should sign an executive order cutting off all illegal immigrants from welfare benefits?
In order to cut off the opposition at the knees, however, continue to provide benefits to those non-citizens who have legal status.
Trump won’t achieve what he’s promising because he doesn’t know the real enemy.
Ok, I re-read Trumps immigration position.
You said “Every solution requires more BigGov. Hes an anti-illegal immigration Obama or Hillary or Billy or Democrat.”
What are the BigGov solutions required for his immigration plan?
border wall - who builds it? Will it be built under prevailing wage law? What politically connected company will get the tax money to build?
border enforcement - How does this look? Will it involve more government?
increased number of border patrol agents - more government obviously and unnecessary. There are small government alternatives.
an American first workers policy - define how this works, specifically, and how it won’t involve more government management of the economy.
I’m dumb, remember? Please edumacate me O Wise One.
After Trump said Carly would not be running one of his companies, it is hard to see him choosing her as a running mate.
You and I are on the same page, but we may be in the minority ...again.
I do love his skewering PC, though.
Oh wow, you really are insane. Hello, McFly, hello, the United States has a sovereign right to secure our borders. If you're not for it, whatever the cost, then you aren't for America.
The macaca comment from Allen didn’t kill him, kowtowing to the PC Gods is what killed Allen. He should have laughed it off....

I’d prefer a broad welfare reform something Trump has never called for. That leads to self-deportation of the laziest illegals and pushes people off the welfare rolls into productive work.
But, it’s just a law, not a natural cause. What we need is a President to strikes at the heart of lawless BigGov. Walker is the only one to have done that of all the candidates.
I’ve met a lot of big talkers in my life. I only trust the doers.
I don't consider a draft dodger to be courageous. Trump is outrageous and brash, but perhaps you've never met a person from NYC or Jersey and hence is normal behavior impresses you.
I'm from a big city and have met and know many "Trumps". They're compensating for their inadequacies via bluster. Not impressive.
Who are they polling? Like her or not, Fiorina won that debate hands down.
Just my prediction. I really hope I am wrong.
