President Trump today announced that the first season of "The Apprentice: White House Edition" will air on CBS this fall. Contestants, including Gary Busey, Ted Cruz and Kanye West, will vie for Cabinet positions. The announcement came as the newly renamed "Hair Force One" touched down in South Dakota for the unveiling of President Trump's face on Mount Rushmore. Meanwhile, first lady Melania had reason to celebrate as her White House-branded perfume, Trump, by Trump, hit Macy's shelves ...
No, this is not a story from The Onion. It's a vision of our future. The only people who would enjoy a Trump presidency are Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert. The jokes write themselves...
The problem with Donald Trump is that he will never be president. His nomination as the Republican candidate would gift the White House to Hillary Clinton. He would self-destruct in a general election. In fact, he may be Clinton's only hope. And even if he were somehow to win, we have no idea how he would govern.
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of a Donald Trump. I love the idea of an outsider who doesn't care about political correctness and who says things you're not supposed to. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is the wrong messenger. .....
His problem with Washington isn't big government, it's that he's not running it. He's not liberal, moderate or conservative. He's not Republican or Democrat. Donald Trump is for Donald Trump. He believes only in himself.
Like all narcissists, Trump is insecure, weak and afraid of being exposed. That's why he's constantly telling us how big and rich and great he is, and how insignificant everyone else is.
Like a kid in a superhero costume, (snip)

Actually, no--- Ted Cruz is watching as Trump takes out Cruz's opposition. Why would Cruz want to stop him?
Oh, and guess what Bobby, look's like you're the next to go! Thanks, Donald.
I'm not sure I would go quite that far. I don't trust that he has converted and become a genuine conservative, but I do not think he is a "madman"
Trump is a media phenomenon, and that’s actually what his background is: “reality TV” and sleazy personal affairs and dubious real estate dealings. The problem is that we are in the Age of the Celebrity, and if you get reported often enough, even if it’s not good, that makes you a sainted celebrity. And then people love you and don’t care what you think, because merely touching the hem of your garment is enough for them.
We laughed at Obama supporters for this.

I read this trite piece by the GOP’s hatchet-faced hatchet man the other evening.
The Republicrat Party is crumbling, but Donald Trump is not. This Carl Rove hierarchy had better find something else to do. They got the last cent I’ll donate over 15 years ago.
When the last person I spoke with from the headquarters called to ask me to contribute I told him I am no longer a Republican. He asked me if I had switched to the Democrat Party, to which I replied hell no. I now consider myself to be a Monarchist.
It’s certainly possible to reject the Trump candidacy, but he is not evil incarnate, so articles like this are overdone and rather obviously self serving.
I cannot believe that this guy actually wrote this!
He should just drop out now. Like why the hell would he get any support after this meltdown?
Sore Loserman - a return?
Bobby, your main problem is you are just too ugly to resonate with voters. Who wants to see your face on TV everyday?
It is telling that the GOPer slime never could muster this much resistance to Obama.
Next to go... from where .4% in the polls.
And this guy actually was running to be President, and is a sitting governor.
I know, right
What Trump needs to do to these ankle-biters, Jindal, Graham, Kasich, Christie, is announce that he is forming a conservative political action committee, and will donate a minimum of $1 million to campaign for conservative opponents of these people in the next primary. Would be nice if he did the same to Boehner, McConnell and a bunch of those RINO congressmen that are always sniping at him and at the tea party. They feel comfortable perched in their Tea Party turrets. How about Trump uses a paltry $2-300 million to take them all out next election cycle?
He took positions and said things that the guys you rather have were too busy goofing around to bother with. He fights back and does not apologize for himself.
We don’t owe anyone support just because. Get to the positions that matter to us first and dont back down, and they could have been in the Trump seat.
No one is supporting this guy just because of a TV show. As long as his opposition keeps repeating that, then the further they will sink. Just as well because that level of stupidity would have never beat the Democrats anyway.
"Dracula" author Bram Stoker said of TR, he was a "man you can't cajole, can't frighten, can't buy." Sounds like Trump.

Post of the Week, in my opinion.
Post of the Week.
Madman? Seems a little harsh.
Bobby, bobby, bobby...
Why do you never speak this way of Obama, pray tell?
Or Boehner?
Or McConnell?
Pray tell???
. And even if he were somehow to win, we have no idea how he would govern.
...........................
....but we have a very good idea how the rest of you will govern.
