(CNSNews.com) GOP presidential candidate Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal took a swing at GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump during a speech Thursday at the National Press Club, labeling him a narcissist.
Now you may have recently heard and seen that Donald Trump said that the Bible is his favorite book. Yet, when asked, he couldnt even name a specific or a single Bible verse that was important to him, that had an impact on him. Well do you know why? Well its clear, Donald Trumps never read the Bible. The reason we know hes never read the Bible, hes not in the Bible, said Jindal.
Trump is currently under fire for remarks he made to Rolling Stone magazine in which he suggested that GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina would not be elected, because of her looks.
"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? Trump told the magazine.
Jindal also called Trump an ego-maniac who lacks substance.
That may sound like a serious charge to make, but its something everybody knows to be true. He knows it too. He celebrates it. He says Kanye West is great. Why is Kanye West great? Because Kanye West likes Trump, so therefore, Kanye West is great, said Jindal.
Hes an entertainer, but hes still a narcissist. Like all narcissists, Donald Trump is insecure and weak. Hes afraid of being exposed. Thats why he tells us always and constantly how big and strong and wealthy he is, Jindal added.
Look weve all met people like Donald Trump who tell us how insignificant everyone else is. We know that only a very weak and small person needs to constantly tell us how strong and powerful they are. Donald Trump believes he is the answer to every question, he said.
Especially when he said this:
I think its pretty outrageous for him to be attacking anybodys appearance when he looks like hes got a squirrel sitting on his head, Jindal, a Republican presidential candidate, said.
How stupid can he be?
I have always liked Jindal but I don’t appreciate him doing a hatchet job. Step aside, Bobby. It’s over.
Don’t know what it is about Trump, but he’s performing a valuable service to thinking voters by causing the RINOs and imbeciles to expose themselves.
I saw the clip. He made his remarks with a smile. That at least shows a little talent.
Jindal's doing even worse - he's using embarrassing childish first-slaps and picking totally ineffective issues. Sad - I used to like Jindal and now I see a Perry in him.
Works for the media, not so much the voters.
Face it ...all these candidates will regret a lot of these statements later so they had better calm down.
Saying stupid things comes back over and over.
Perhaps you are the person with the problem. Your attitude toward others is pathetic. You display a holier than thou arrogance. Picking a candidate that has no hope of winning the Presidency is bad judgment.
I assume you are behind one of the other potential big bench losers, but you haven’t said who you are for.
Your first mistake was turning on Bill O’Blowhard’s show.
“I hate to say it but we need something of a thug (in the original sense of that word) to take America back.”
You’ve said exactly what I’ve been thinking for awhile now. A lot of Trump haters keep repeating their mantra of “he’s not a Conservative!” over and over as if we are somehow too blinded by adoration and “worship” of the man to know that.
Diplomacy requires a diplomomat with all the skills that being a diplomat requires. But when diplomacy has failed, when the will of the people has been thwarted over and over again, despite all political means to rectify the situation; then something quite different in the way of methods and the person who leads in them is required. Fighting a war is a whole different smoke from sitting at a table and playing nicey nice. Donald Trump’s idea and methods of diplomacy will probably be a refreshing change also after John Kerry.
Trump haters want to talk about the childishness of throwing stones. Well, don’t throw stones at Donald Trump because he catches them and throws them back...hard!
All Americans at this point are going to see that each one of us is going to have to take a stand and fight back in ways that may not be so genteel. We’re going to have to fight or get rolled over and lose our country. If I have to choose a leader for that it would be a Mad Max, not some panty waist politician.
“I think even people who like him recognize him in Jindals remark.”
After watching Jindal for eight years, I recognize Jindal in Jindal’s remarks.
I believe Jindal’s a Catholic. So he’s not much “in the Bible”, either. Just the bits and pieces of it that some guy in Italy decrees are ok. Presbyterians are more evangelical than are R.C.s.
Anyhow, being “in the Bible” is not a requirement for President of the U.S. However, being “in the Constitution” is.
That’s a funny line!
Take it up with Joe.
“...hes not the man I took him to be.”
Bullseye.
“You are a racist and should sit down and shut up. You disqualify yourself with your words. Shame on you, but you have no shame.”
You said the exact same thing to me Thursday when I mentioned Jindal’s former RELIGION!!! Calling someone a racist must make you feel better about yourself; you enjoy condemning other people. Racists enjoy condemning other people.
There were rumors that the GOPe would go after Trump, full force, after Labor Day.
Apparently, those were not just rumors.
It seems that all except Cruz and possibly Santorum are on board.
Carson and Jindal both within a day question Trump’s religiousness. Not sure that is smart on their part.
Instead of crashing Trump, they are giving him another few days of headlines going into the CNN debate Wednesday.
