Donald Trump latest's close-up is coming from the unlikeliest of magazines: Rolling Stone.
The magazine, well known for its progressive bent, interviewed and photographed Trump for its September 24 cover.
The article's most-talked-about passage on Wednesday was a Trump comment about rival Republican 2016 candidate Carly Fiorina.
Writer Paul Solotaroff was sitting with Trump watching a newscast when a video clip zoomed in on Fiorina.
"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?" Trump said to Solotaroff. "Can you imagine that, the face of our next president.
Trump added, "I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

That quote was taken entirely out of context and numerous Free Republic threads cover this aspect of what he said (and what he didn't say) in depth. One such thread is even tagged with [misleading] since it clearly shows that Trump places America first!
I admire Grace Hopper better than Fiorina who broke HP’s balls
I’m telling you, Trump is basically an overgrown 14 year old who operates on the basis of insulting, disparaging, and intimidating opponents and potential threats. Because of his arrogance, this type of thing is going to happen again, as he cannot help himself, nor does it apparently occur to him that he should.
Pfft. This isn’t tea time .... It’s a race for the presidency. If Carly can’t take the comments from Trump, how would she ever handle the bad actors on the world stage.
By the way, I felt she respnded to the remarks was extremely classy and strong. She seemed nonplussed by it.
Trump can be a bully for sure... Again, just what we need at this time ... A total bulldozer that will keep them off kilter at every step. It’s the only thing that will wake this stupid country out of its complacency and keep the wolf from breaking down the door.
That was a righteous attack. What kind of a God do you worship? You sound more like a radical Islamist that a Christian.
Well, not nice... true, but not nice. A little editing is sometimes a good idea.
This silliness will blow over in about a news cycle. It’s got the legs of a stump.
That was a good shot :)
I’ll buy it. It is a statement that could go either way.
She has an Italian sounding last name but all the Italian women in my family and the gals I have dated were quite beautiful.
Husband’s name? :)
I concur.
Sad, but true ...
I just read this article rather quickly, but I did not see this in there about Fiorina. So is this something the writer says Trump said and did not put it in or is it taken out of context or just made up?
One of the best parts of Trump is how he always says what I’m thinking. Everytime I look at the woman even before she opens her mouth that’s exactly what I say to myself. Made me spit my coffee to hear it out loud! Trump 2016.
Trump - The man who is telling everyone “The Emperor Has No Clothes!” If we can identify problems outload we might be able to start fixing them.
If you're really competitive, it makes the game more fun to give yourself a handicap. And Trump's really competitive.
There ya go this is no arena for wimps, but you still have to pander to them to get the election, while holding your ground.
Carly is no wilting flower, so if she can handle the heat she needs to get out and stop pretending that she is a wilting flower
She looks like she’s had both bad plastic surgery and a stroke.
>> Trump should just deny it <<
Then he’d best be telling the truth, because reporters these days usually record interviews, with or without the interviewee’s permission.
We need that up vote button!
Thanks for the link. Yep, he did say that. Sounds like getting an interview from him is like talking to one of my best friends. She will NOT stay on topic.
