For all the talk about Donald Trump allegedly driving minorities away from the Republican Party, could he actually bring people in?
A SurveyUSA poll released Friday shows in a hypothetical matchup with Hillary Clinton, Trump is ahead 45% to 40%.
But digging into the racial breakdown of the respondents is revealing. For example, the poll finds 25% of black respondents say they would vote for Trump over Clinton.
How impressive is that?

“His strong pimp hand”
I’m sure you have heard the expression, “The man’s been keepin’ me down.”
Well, Trump IS the man. They want him and his strong hand on their side.
LOL, magnificent bastard.
This may be why the leftist media have started ridiculing Jebbie.
Great breakdown. Thanks!
Great observations.
I noticed the same thing, here in TX, for a few months about a year ago.
Now, it seems like we’re back to the primarily hispanic car wash and Whole Foods (behind scene, etc.) employees.
How impressive? It's frikken earth shattering, considering that blacks ordinarily vote 92% Dem in every national election.
If that 25% number is true, and holds, we're talking a major realignment in American politics.
Anecdotally, a black man in Georgia told my husband that a while back - said no more black presidents.
Hasn’t changed here. Everyone wants the wall.
D@mn straight!
I find hope in such a report but my spidey senses tell me never trust any poll and being I live in Ohio and know for a fact certain precincts in the Buckeye State in supposed Black Neighborhoods voted 100% for Obama I just don't trust the election process here anymore either. (You can't tell me one of two people in those precincts didn't vote for someone else just as a matter of being different. there is always one guy that bucks the system in every voting district.)
As a melanin enriched conservative myself, my guess is he's not getting all that much support from blacks.
Any black Democrat who's ready to 'cross the line', won't stop at Carson, simply because of his skin color. That sort of voter has already abandoned racial politics altogether, and is ready to give their vote to the guy they perceive to be the odds-on favorite to actually deliver what he's promised.
At least for this election.
I’d like to know why we had that (very brief) span, here in TX, where the illegals seemed to be self-deporting/forced deported...and, now it’s back to the influx of illegals.
What happened to briefly stop it? And, is it 0bola’s importing of illegals program that’s ramped it up?
Why won’t Texas do what AZ is doing?
Maybe Trump will highlight this in Dallas.
You seem to have a very extensive grasp of Dr. Carson's abilities./s
What a sickening thing to say. Your mind is full of pus, and you don't know what you're talking about.
My relatives, who have not voted republican in 30 years, will vote for Trump!
Yeah, like their neighborhoods, their schools, their local businesses, and their jobs.
Blacks are more directly impacted by illegal immigration than any other demographic in the country.
“There is another place called Sprouts where the staff in back of the counter was also 95% Hispanic.”
The Sprouts stores here in SoCal do exactly the same thing. And I mean they are illegals. After 50 years in SoCal it’s not hard to know the difference.
Maybe it’s Sprout’s company policy to hire illegals unless the stores are prosecuted and forced to obey the law. I don’t remember them doing this when the stores were owned by a different management group and were called Henry’s Market.
President Trump inauguration ball 2016! Happy days are here again...
That makes sense.
Great image. It speaks to how many people are perceiving Trump.
