Hillary's Drip, Drip, Drip E-Mail Strategy: How Can We Bore 'Em Today?

RUSH: Okay, folks, I have figured out this e-mail scam. I know exactly what's going on here. I know exactly what the strategy is 'cause it's working on me. Ah, this is so predictable. We've seen it before.

Here's what's happening here, folks. I'm going through the latest news accounts of the latest dump of Hillary e-mails, and about halfway through the story, I say, "You know what, I don't care anymore. I'm getting bored. Nothing's happening here. They're just releasing a bunch of stuff. It is meaningless." You know, all of these e-mails that we're reading about today, Boehner's an alcoholic, all this crap, doesn't have a thing to do with anything. These are part of the e-mails that she did not delete. These are the things that she submitted that she wants everybody to see.

And this drip, drip, drip. I'm sorry, folks, I was wrong. This drip, drip, drip is not Obama trying to destroy Hillary. The drip, drip, drip is trying to bore the American people. They get tired of hearing about it because nothing happens. It's not interesting other than this inside-the-Beltway gossip stuff. There's some tantalizing things in there, some titillating things that are supposed to make everybody go, "Ooh, ooh, ooh," like David Brock trying to talk her into impeaching Clarence Thomas. Or Sidney Blumenthal asking her to promote his idiot son's ranting against Israel. Or the fact that Tim Geithner's lousy with document curation, which we already know, but none of it is about anything that matters, and accordingly, nothing happens here.

If this is the case, why did Obama give his blessings to Bidden for a possible run? Could it be that he is getting ready to throw Hillary under the bus?

Actually, my theory is that Obama is going to release only as much as it takes to remove Hillary from the race. If she's stubborn and won't get out he'll release more. He holds all the cards. She's clearly broken the law on a number of fronts and she's done so in such a way it isn't connected to him - she owns the Email scandal entirely. He can send her to prison if he wants. And if he really wants to blow up the Clintons just investigate the Clinton foundation... So the question is, how stubborn is she and what will it take to get her out. How far will she play chicken with Obama.

Hillary was forced to release these e-mails.

If it was up to her, she wouldn’t release anything.

They may be boring, but their lawyers and technicians miss a few things each time. It all adds up, and then someone spills their guts to save themself.

I am betting it’s more of a chicken game than most people would imagine. I’m quite sure that Hitlery has plenty of info to blackmail 0vomit with, too. With them, it’s MAD - mutually assured destruction - that keeps them from launching the first nuke.

I’m really hoping they both launch. Seeing them both in jail, each because of the other’s squealing, would be so sweet.

The State Department released this latest bunch of email, not Her Thighness.

I agree with the first part of your theory. But, as for Obama being insulated from Hillary's crimes...so far, that's only a function of the media portraying it as such.

If the Secretary of State had been anyone but Hillary, the media would not--could not--portray this as unconnected to the Office of the President. It's his State Dept. His Cabinet at the highest level. His watch.

Yes, Hillary owns the nucleus of it as the central perpetrator, but Obama and his cabal damn well knew what was going on. He and his administration ALLOWED it to continue with full knowledge. The State Dept's daily failure to notice and report anything odd, their daily failure to follow protocol, and subsequent stonewalling of court-ordered document production can only be explained by a stand-down order from the Oval Office.

The danger for Valjar and Obama, in holding those cards, is that their fingerprints are all over them, too. Not just Hillary’s.

It would be sweet if the Obama cabal, in trying to bring down Hillary, took themselves down as well. Wishful thinking, perhaps. But it gets me through the day.

Obama tightly controls the DOJ so he won’t bring himself down and even more importantly he has control of the evidence. Only congress could do something and I have no expectations of that happening.
