Former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz are blasting the nuclear deal between Iran and the six world powers, likening it to the Munich agreement signed in and which paved the way to World War II.
The harsh criticism of the deal came in a joint op-ed the two wrote for The Wall Street Journal on Friday.
The two write that “despite the explosive spread of terrorist ideology and organizations, the establishment of an Islamic State caliphate in the heart of the Middle East, the proliferation of nuclear weapons, and increasing threats from Iran, China, North Korea and Russia, President [Barack] Obama has departed from this 75-year, largely bipartisan tradition of ensuring America’s pre-eminence and strength.”
Obama, the Cheneys argue, “has abandoned Iraq, leaving a vacuum that is being tragically and ominously filled by our enemies. He is on course to forsake Afghanistan as well.”
“For seven decades, both Republican and Democratic presidents have understood the importance of ensuring the supremacy of America’s nuclear arsenal,” they charge. “President Obama seems not to. He has advocated cutting our nuclear force in the naïve hope that this will persuade rogue regimes to do the same. He has imposed limits on our ability to modernize and maintain nuclear weapons. He has reduced the nation’s missile-defense capabilities.”

While I’ll grant you that fact, Czechoslovakia didn’t have a regional power set to use it’s nukes on it as soon as it develop them either.
Iran has a direct pipeline (supply chain) to Hezbollah in Lebanon. I believe I recently read where al Qaeda or the Muslim Brotherhood has positions near the Golan heights now. We know exactly what is going to happen once Iran has nukes.
Since those nut-jobs over there don’t even give a rat’s ass about their own lives, they make great delivery systems.
Talk is cheap on this matter since Republicans in Congress enabled Obama to conclude the deal authorizing the talks.
Now they criticize to get emotional mileage in 2016 with voters BUT WILL THE GOP IN CONGRESS STOP OBAMA.........
When the Iranian IED’s killed our soldiers in Iraq back when George W. Bush was President and Dick Cheney was VP, I don’t remember military action.
Republicans and Democrats alike, America has been fighting limited wars that make George S. Patton turn over in his grave......
General Douglas MacArthur wanted to bomb China when they got into the Korean War but Truman wouldn’t let him and eventually fired him.
And the USA went down a bipartisan defense and foreign policy path that continued into the aftermath of 9/11 and brings us to the deal with Iran.
I think however the final Congressional vote comes out the Republicans winked and nodded when they let Obama negotiate in the first place and this stupid deal will stand.
THEN WE WILL SEE IF BIBI NETANYAHU IS A REPUBLICAN, TOO.
WILL IT BE MORE EMOTIONAL VOTE GETTING TALK FOR THE NEXT ELECTION OR WILL IT BE ACTION IN DEFENSE OF ISRAEL..........

No amount of talk or negotiating will keep Iran from obtaining, and then detonating a nuke.
Lets make the questions easier... what has Barry done that’s helped the country, any country?
One big difference though:
Chamberlain didn’t hate England and wasn’t trying to wipe out the other Allies.
Deep down Chamberlain knew war was inevitable, but England wasn’t ready at the time.
I would support Dick or Liz for President. (remember, Dick has a new heart.)
