MEGYN KELLY: THE FIRST CASUALTY IN DONALD TRUMP’S ‘ASYMMETRIC’ WAR ON FOX NEWS
Breitbart ^ | August28,2015 | Matthew Bolye

Posted on 08/28/2015 5:31:27 AM PDT by Hojczyk

2016 GOP frontrunner and billionaire Donald Trump already won his war with the Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly.

She’s exposed as having a point of view, rather than being a purely impartial arbiter of news. Now he’s just having fun as a larger war between him and the network’s powers-that-be looms.

But what Trump has done in a truly special manner is expose that fallacy. It’s not that Trump’s war with Kelly isn’t petty—it is, and it is probably counterproductive to be fighting with a television personality for weeks on end as he’s soaring in the polls. He could be fighting with the Mexican or Chinese governments or with Democrats or his fellow GOP candidates—all of which would be more conducive to helping him earn more supporters—but Trump isn’t someone who backs down easily–and since Kelly came after him, not the other way around, he feels like he needs to win. Well, in the regard of whether or not Kelly is in fact impartial, Trump has a decisive victory.

That doesn’t mean that Kelly will see a drop in ratings or a loss of status in the media. She’s still the top dog on the Fox News Channel, and her show still gets incredible ratings. Until a credible competitor emerges—CNN and MSNBC certainly haven’t been able to make the cut—she’ll remain there, just like O’Reilly and Hannity have. But Trump has taken one thing away from her that she and her bosses at Fox can never replace, no matter how much time or money they spend on it: the appearance of impartiality.

She’s still the top dog shameless slut-mutt on the Fox News Channel

Fixed that right up, no charge.

Trump is masterfully turning the tables on “Political Correctness”. The power of political correctness has been the fact that it is a form of “Legitimized Bullying” for the purpose of herding people into “Proper beliefs and thoughts”. As a result the majority live in fear of even accidentally committing a “thought crime”, and losing our bakeshop, flower shop, career etc.

I believe the main reason for Trumps popularity is that he has dared to step away from the herd and has been turning on and attacking anyone who tries to bully him back into place. Trump refuses to play by their rules. When they attack him it is he who profits, and they who are fired.

I am beginning to see a renewal of confidence in many people who have up until now been cowed into submission. I believe the media and liberal overseers are beginning to sense this unrest, and are frightened.

We are living in interesting times.

“Like all reporters. They have options..she just fooled us Til Trump came along....”

That’s the problem. She isn’t a reporter. She is a commentator and as such issues opinions. No different than Rush, Savage, et al. Thing is, she is a Fox commentator which means her opinions “are” the opinions of Fox News.

Teleprompter people are not to be trusted. This includes actors, politicians and “journalists.” Teleprompters contain scripts that allow the reader/speaker to appear more knowledgeable, fluent and commanding than they might actually be. In that sense teleprompters represent a subtle form of deception.

The purpose of a script is to control the narrative and to achieve a specific outcome, controlling and diminishing the true personality, and in some cases, the true beliefs of the reader.

Teleprompters are inherently dishonest and deceptive. at the very least, a warning should precede telepromter delivered information informing the audience that these are pre-scripted words that may or may not represent the true beliefs and character of the speaker.

The most dangerous thing is a journo-type who claims impartiality because nobody is really. Greta Van Sustern is the most fair on Fox, maybe Brett Baier. Greta doesn’t claim to be a conservative R but she is the most impartial. They could all learn from her but then their ego wouldn’t allow them to put their personal opinions aside and really engage with the person.

It will be interesting to see who OANN selects as a permanent host for the 10pm spot. I could easily see Sarah continuing and use it as a more public platform ala Andrew Breitbart.

OANN has an opportunity to become the standard bearer of honest news IF they can overcome their limited distribution model.

Trump smelled Kelly’s plan a mile away and backed out of a pre-scheduled interview with her before the debate.

BR>Remember I had pinged you to tell you Donald Trump would be Megyn's guest on her Monday's show?

Har! He was onto her evil duplicity. That's why her stood her up and she was such a coward, she NEVER mentioned Mr. Trump during her lousy, boring Monday show, after promoting him as her guest for Monday on her Friday show!

Whenever Trump’s name comes up, no one will ever take her seriously.
Her pride and narcissism got the best of her.

Fox closed rank around megyn after the debate. They showed themselves to be a club of Fox News Persons... and made a distinct separation between them and the people.

Pretty feminines get away with anything and everything and megan is adored by those at Fox. I can’t stand to see her face after the debate. That smirky smile and her attitude was on full display...she also showed her liberal side when obama was elected. Bret Baier so disappointed me in that debate and he’s off my list. Their news and their gab, means nothing any more.

Their actions in that debate changed everything.. In fact, Trumps candidacy changed everything. They exposed themselves to be in the same club that has propped obama up for all these years. They exposed themselves to be on the side of big and corrupt government. They didn’t aim to ever bring that big and corrupt government down.

They did not know the anger .. even though they have twitter, facebook, email and phone calls.. they must not pay any attention to any of the voters. It took a Trump to see what is going on and doing something about it.

And... “how dare this man think he can bypass our club”.

The game is being run by Soros, Buffett, Murdoch, the Koch’s, and Bloomberg et al. Trump is at least a player in that game, while the rest of the merry midgets are pawns.

Yep! I remember when you pinged, and I’d set my DVR. Nada. Now we know why ;-)

This whole ambush Trump debacle has backfired, BIG, on meh-GYN and FNC, imo.

I now despise Megyn.

I’ve stopped watching her show.

I truly can’t stand the sight of her.

I feel the exact same, about her. I don’t watch FNC, at all, any more.

I tried watching a posted youtube of her, the other day, and all I see is blood coming out of her eyes and the corners of he snarled lip mouth. Honestly, that’s what I see. She exudes venom.

I was already sick and tired of her “too cute by half” act, before the debate.
