“EXCLUSIVE: ‘I wanted a wife... so did she’”

This is common with many career driven women.

Decades ago one of our female friends divorced a good man. After the divorce, she told us that she “needed a wife”.

I asked her if she wanted a lesbian or what.

She said, “I’m not a lesbian, I need a wife to do the shopping, cooking, cleaning and to have a social friend while I devote my life/energy to my job/career.

For a couple of decades she hooked up/lived with an older retired guy, who fit that role until he died. Both were happy in that relationship.

One of our younger male relatives had a serious relationship for about a year with a younger version of this woman. She wanted to get married and for him to give up his excellent job and be her wife.

I reminded him about the woman, I described above, and asked him if he would be happy being the man/wife. He said no and broke up with her. That woman is still looking for a male wife.
