I'm getting pretty tired of this line and I'd like to point out how ridiculous it actually is, by way of analogy.
Ever been on the highway? Ever notice all those folks going over the speed limit? (I'm one of them, by the way.)
Imagine if the govt broadcast "We can't possibly pull over millions of speeders every day!" and, to top it off, make good on not doing it.
I believe you'd be seeing a lot more speeders on the road. Especially if they never see anyone getting pulled over for it.
Since it is actually true that there are not enough resources to pull over everyone, what the govt does instead is:
1) pull over who they can, limited by resources.
2) occasionally broadcast public service announcements such as "We're going to step up enforcement of speeding this holiday weekend..."
But what do they do for illegal immigration is -
1) Broadcast "We Can't Possibly Deport Millions of Illegals..."
How stupid can you be? It's really no wonder folks stream in.
If this was only broadcast on the democrat side of politics, it'd just be another ridiculous leftist argument.
But since the repub majority adds their voice to the choir, it becomes a ridiculous form of government.
Mexico deported them to the US so why can’t we return them to Mexico??

Sounds like a plan to me...
Arrest the owners of the big companies that clean offices at night. That should take out half of them.
Lots of companies have moved their factories to Mexico, currently Ford is being criticized for their plans.
Maybe as CA collapses under its own RATism, the Mexicans will go back to their homeland...where life is good.
Why not, Mexico sent them we can send them back.

Enforce the laws; fine and imprison those who hire, employ, aid, abet, harbor, school, and assist then, and they will deport themselves.
Take away the feeding trough and those who came looking for it will go elsewhere.
Deport all you catch and many will get discouraged and go back home, saying, it is hostile place with no jobs.

The company I worked for back in the 90s was not so diligent when they hired a roofer for a hot tar job. One morning, the crew had just got started and a bunch of federal cars/vans pulled into the parking lot, called them all off the roof, and carted them away. The roofer had another crew on the job that afternoon that looked just like the crew that got carted away.
Nice list, but I would like it to also contain “abolish sanctuary cities.”

You may be 100% correct. But we can as a nation make it damn hard for them to
live/stay here. When you remove the freebies and benefits they receive then it
may not be as enticing for them to stay.
