Donald Trump is dominating in two key early-primary states, according to new polls of the states released Tuesday.
A new Public Policy Polling poll of Republican primary voters in New Hampshire found that the real-estate mogul is far ahead of the competition, with 35% saying that they would vote for Trump if the primary were held today.
The closest opponent was Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R), who garnered 11%.

The results were similar to a Monmouth University poll of South Carolina Republican primary voters, which showed Trump leading the pack with 30% of the vote. He was trailed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who clocked in at a distant second with 15%.
New Hampshire and South Carolina are the first two primary states, taking place after the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses. They are generally seen as crucial states...
Trump took a victory lap on Twitter following the release of the new polls. He also took a shot at Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), a fellow candidate with whom he has been in an ongoing feud:
Congrats @LindseyGrahamSC. You just got 4 points in your home state of SCfar better than zero nationally. Youre only 26 pts behind me. Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 25, 2015
But even that theory appears to be crumbling, at least in New Hampshire.
According to the PPP poll, Trump would trounce his rivals in head-to-head matchups. The survey found that Trump beat out Carson by 8 points, Walker by 18%, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) by 19%, and Bush by 23%.

Could peak too soon.
Reporter: How is the Republican leadership treating you?
Trump: I am now the Republican leadership.
IBTConservative Sanhedrin
Pray America is waking
Good luck with that. I don’t think you get what’s happening here. :)
What's going to peak too soon? Disgust with the establishment? I think that will plateau, not peak.
You never know.
The battlefield is littered with former front runners.
I remember in 2012. First it was Michele Bachmann, then Rick Perry, then Herman Cain, then Newt Gingrich...
Trump:
“Congrats @LindseyGrahamSC. You just got 4 points in your home state of SCfar better than zero nationally. Youre only 26 pts behind me. Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 25, 2015”
LoL.
Carlifornia is at 10%?!
Go Trump/Cruz 2016!!!
“The battlefield is littered with former front runners.”
But in recent years none of them were 1) Anti-GOPe, 2) this far ahead, and 3) the electorate wasn’t this pissed off!
I think DT IS the establishment.
He is only the richest man ever to run for president. He is buddy buddy with former presidents including Bill Clinton.
He is close to the most powerful hedge fund operators in the country including Carl Icahn.
Not only does DT live in high rise NYC penthouses. He owns many of the buildings.
Not only is DT a country club Republican. He actually owns a number of the world’s finest golf courses.
It is hard to find a person more establishment and plutocratic than DT-—his populist bombast and bluster aside.
Sour grapes
So in your mind, wealth itself is a disqualifier. I don’t see it that way.
I’m glad Trump is wealthy. It will take a huge amount of wealth to counter huge amount of power wielded by the uniparty/unimedia.
And shooting Thompson machine guns. Plus smoking, that’s a no no...
Yeah, and each of them waffled and shot themselves in the foot.
I agree with the belief that people are tired of the same political BS game. Trump has come in and totally turned this game around.
He is approaching this as a business professional, and treating this campaign as if he were making a huge acquisition deal.
