Hillary Clinton Campaign Says Classified Emails Were on Server

WASHINGTON Hillary Clintons campaign said Wednesday that emails on the private server she used when she was secretary of state contained material that is now classified, the clearest explanation thus far of an issue that has roiled her bid for the presidency.
At the same time, the campaign sought to play down the disclosure by saying the material had been retroactively classified out of an abundance of caution by U.S. intelligence agencies.
She was at worst a passive recipient of unwitting information that subsequently became deemed as classified, said Brian Fallon, a spokesman for Mrs. Clintons campaign.
Mrs. Clinton has been criticized for using a private email server when she was in office. Since 2013, the server was maintained by a small Denver company and stored at a secure data center in New Jersey until it was turned over to the FBI last week. Her use of the server has prompted an FBI counterintelligence investigation.

"Mr. Boian said the Clinton server was picked up at the Clintons home in New York and moved to a secure data center in New Jersey, where it operated until last week. He said the computer was operational when Platte River took possession of it"
That's BIG news...

The failure to revoke security clearance for Clinton and her associates is going to become a big, big problem for Obama and Kerry if they wait until they are forced to do so.

Yeah, that may be so but they’ll swear nobody had access to them or ever saw them. No warrant, no US Marshals dispatched. Yawn.

Well, we’ve been told that Hillary was “passive” while Benghazi’s brave defenders pleaded for help. However, we still want to see her emails on September 11-18, 2012, to see just how passive she really was.

To claim that there were classified emails on her private server is the only way they can keep people from talking about all the emails concerning the big money donors to her Clinton for President foundation.
Yeah, she sold access to foreigner agents as Secretary of State. I am thinking that may sort of be a bigger deal.

So she seems to be claiming that what was on her server was a lower security level and even if this were true then how, if this was her only server, did she receive the really Top Secret information that a Secretary of State would normally receive?
The the other issue is she has been claiming that 1/2 the emails on the server were “personal” so was SOS a part time job for her?

This is the ultimate "blonde joke".

If you use the Drudge link to WSJ there's no paywall.
Boian is a spokesman for Platte River Networks.
The server was operated until last week?

I don’t think she was competent enough to handle the amount of data and information being thrown at her. If you look back over her resume, prior to Sec of State....where exactly does she show that she’s multi-taskable? Where is her international affairs background?
To: Mariner
So we know when she quit the State Dept, nobody asked her to sign papers nor exit interview(s). She just up and left her office, and that’s that. (What about her security clearance? Does she, a private citizen, still have the same security clearance?)
And she continued to use the same ‘puter until it was ‘handed over to FBI’. Got it, according to Hillary, it is no biggie, everybody else’s doing it, and only FNC reporter bugged her about it.

So if Classified emails were on the server why did she let a company that was not given special clearance the job of handling the server........that in it’s self is like leaving classified Docs on the desk with foreigners in the room while you go out to lunch!

material that is now classified
Why would it not be 'classified' BEFORE she received it?
What was the 'classification' when it was originally sent?
Hillary and her team are trying to parse and nuance their way through this minefield. Remember with the Clintons that EVERY WORD has to scrutinized.
Reports from weeks ago indicated that someone on the receiving end (Hillary's server) removed the cover sheets that indicated classification status. Why would they do that, unless they were ordered to? They would have no reason to remove the classification status. Per some reports, removing the classification status is a criminal offense.
Soon, Hillary will be sacrificing staffers under the bus. Who goes first?
As with the Benghazi atrocities, Clintonesque Hillary is throwing out numerous partial versions of the story. That is intentional to convolute and misdirect what is going on.
Recall that the 'server' was first located at their residence in NY. Then it was as some 'safe' facility in Manhattan. Then, it was returned to the State Department. Then, back in NY in the barn on the Clinton estate. Then, to the FBI. Then, to a mom & pop security firm's bathroom in Colorado.
The Rose Firm billing records lost & found was just practice.
