Former Subway sandwich chain pitchman Jared Fogle pleaded guilty in federal court on Wednesday to charges of child pornography and traveling for illicit paid sex with minors.
Federal Judge Mark Dinsmore must now review a plea deal Fogle’s attorneys reached with prosecutors and decide whether to accept it. Fogle was released and must wear an electronic monitoring device pending his next court appearance.
Under the deal, Fogle would serve between five and 12 years in prison, pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 minor victims, register as a sex offender and meet other conditions.

The new guy they have for the commercials, baseball player Mike Troutt, has the same dumb cow blank look on his face like Jared always did. Footage of a man chewing is never good TV. Never could stand that Jared. Who is surprised there was something wrong with him?

Wifey may have been too late with the divorce filing, but I’m not an expert in domestic relations law. About a month ago I saw an article that listed Fogle’s net worth as around $1.6 million; the $1.4 million restitution plus his lawyer and court fees will pretty much drain that.
