For those of you who are unfamiliar with him, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is a the best selling author of both "The Harbinger" and "The Mystery of the Shemitah."

Cahn is a Messianic Jew, and a devoted man of God.
I believe what he speaks is prophetic, and his words echo sound and true.
The dire warnings to America he spoke of our nation's race towards Godlessness (and looming judgment) in "The Harbinger" are eerily coming to pass.
Even more dire, Cahn has discovered that the ancient Shemitah cycle of 7 years that God ordained in Leviticus also follows recent patterns in America indicating economic and other calamity at the end of the Shemitah for a nation that walks away from God. What the Lord intended as a blessing every 7 years becomes a curse and judgment for the nations that curse the Almighty.
This coming end of Shemitah is also a "Super Shemitah", meaning that it ends a pattern of seven (a number God uses to mean completion) Shemitahs of 49 years, ending in the Biblical year of Jubliee.
We also have the last of the Blood Moons coming in September, and this will be a "Super Moon", closer to the earth and appearing about 14% greater in size (full perigee) and 25 times brighter than a micro moon.
Rabbi Cahn's message is about 13 minutes long, and located HERE.
It is all not doom and gloom, but full of wisdom, encouragement, and prudence. I urge anyone reading this to watch it.
Cahn reminds us that God does not have to act, that is up to Him, and His timing. However, the wise heed advice, and prepare. Spiritually first, and then physically.

What lie was that in his book?
It was a flash photo taken with a slow shutter speed in a room with some ambient sunlight and the photographer moved the camera during exposure. The bright spots on the wall from the sunlight projecting from a unique shaped window gave the appearance of angel’s wings. The movement of the camera also caused the wrought iron railing to repeat a little just above where it was. It gave the illusion of an “Angel holding a wrought iron cross” if you looked at it just right.
So, what was the lie? The caption. I can’t remember the exact words, but it went something like this: Photography experts have examined the negative and photo anc cannot explain the image of the angel and cross.
BS. He lost me there.
I used to be able to find the image on the internet but I can’t find it any more. You can probably find it at a used book store, but make sure it is the original edition. I noticed in my search this morning that there is a second edition. He may have changed that part. In fact, it would be fun to see if he did.
I firmly agree. the challenge I have is that other than timing to the day, he really predicted nothing I have not predicted myself. In today’s world, these predictions are not rocket science to anyone who has been paying attention for a few decades AND is a student of history.
It’s why I put my money where my mouth is way back in 2008 and bought my place in KY and why, in 2011, I moved here from a good six figure income in Seattle and a professional reputation in my field I’d built up since 1983, and started from scratch.
I take this VERY seriously. BTW, I moved here in the spirit of Revelation 18:4

I’ve put it this way: If what we are looking forward to is another bad time like the last two world wars, where we destroy ourselves and rebuild, I hope us doom and gloomers are wrong. But if it is what is prophesied in Ezekiel, Revelation, Matthew 24, etc. Then I hope it gets as bad as so many predict because it is the FINAL battle and what must happen for Jesus’ return.
In that case I say, BRING IT. Oh, and Jesus, Come Quickly!

it’s a prevalent feeling these days and it crosses denominational lines. I think people of faith can feel it. Anne Graham spoke of it in her Mayday email blasts in June, and several Catholic newsletters I receive speak in very similar terms of something happening, and SOON. I am praying very hard for some that I care for to get right with God and quickly.

Cahn is therefore not an originalist. Yet he chose to bend the spelling in title his book at odds to the only English translation of the talmud. My guess is that he or his publisher saw that I had got there years before.
So if this act of his is in fact a Sabbatean scam, look for the market meltdown just after the end of the Sabbath year between September 14-28, IOW just after people think the coast is clear.
I think from September through December may be the time of serious problems with economy and war against Israel and the US, in some form.

That part that worries me is what looks like our ignoring all the warnings we, as a nation, have received, as well as our nation recently giving God the middle finger by overturning His mandate regarding marriage to be kept sacred.
The Planned Parenthood videos sicken me and I find that I'm repeating Scripture by begging Him to make it stop, and to forgive them for they (hopefully) know not what they do.
On the other hand, consider how many people have become aware of Him in these interesting times, many through their concerns about the Shemitah, then compare this to some of the other times we know of when He warned a people.
Have we done enough, changed our hearts enough, repented enough, prayed enough for each other and our nation, have we done any other thing He might see as reason to stay whatever Judgment we've earned?
Who can say what will happen but the One who decides?
Perhaps we've heeded the warnings from the Jonahs of our times. It could be that Cahn is one of our Jonahs or perhaps he is one of those on the wall.
Whatever the truth may be, many have changed their ways as a result of the warnings and that could be received by Him as fear of God and honoring the Father by wayward children who before rarely called home, even at Christmas, and if then, we called collect.
We are reacting appropriately to the PP horror show, shinning the light on that evil, trying to kill it and hopefully, somehow, someday heal the damage.
The ones who hear and the ones who answer His calls are multiplying and His own are fighting His enemy while working to restore His ways.
His Intention is to save, not condemn. Though we've earned condemnation, have we done enough to stay His Hand or ease the severity of It's fall?
I guess we'll just have to wait and see...plenty to do (and not do) in the meantime.

There are jewish christians. Even Jesus was called Rabbi by his disciples and others.
No offense, guys and gals.
But I see no difference between this type of “prophecy” and the nut cases who keep predicting the date of the end of the world.
As a Christian, Revelations is the last prophecy that I pay any attention to, and even at that, I don’t pay much attention to it.
If and when Jesus returns, none of this matters.
Until then, as He said, keep busy with the faith as if you don’t know when He will return, because none on this planet does know.
