In what may be the most important development in the 2016 Presidential race to date, Donald Trump has announced, and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) office has confirmed, that the GOP front-runner is consulting with the Alabama Senator in crafting his immigration plan for the future of America.
The real estate moguls announcement will send shock waves through Washington D.C. and all across primary states.
Trump, whose campaign has focused primarily on issues of immigration and trade, has seen a meteoric rise since entering the race, with throngs of supporters across the country rocketing him to the top of every single poll, despite an extraordinary effort of establishment Republicans to take him down. Republican pundits have lobbed every imaginable accusation at Trump. Yet these same pundits, while seemingly furious at the man, have demonstrated no similar concern, angst, or passion about the dissolution of our southern border, the rampant exploitation of guest-worker programs, the collapse of middle class wages, and the growing illegal immigrant crime wave.

This is the template to victory.
Jeff is the real deal; so this is good to see. Trump, hopefully, is going to learn that this massive, third world legal immigration is killing us & get a better sense of how to approach this side of the issue along with the illegal side.
I have to give credit where credit is due.
Sessions is the right person to have on this.
Good Job Mr. Trump.
In his book “Art of the Deal”, he dedicates an entire chapter to that story. Good stuff !
Heh....it's no mistake that he's worth $10 Billion dollars. The man is a marketing genius and can spot the hot players to connect with in any game.
He is SO smoking the competition. Just taking them to school, as it were. It's almost embarrassing.
If Cruz folds his tent, then I suspect he will go all in for Trump.
If Trump folds his tent, then I suspect he will go all in for Cruz.
These are the anti-establishment candidates. They are not out to make friends, they are out to make waves.
I just re-read that today. Great story.
Perhaps he got the knowledge to advise him from non other than Ted Cruz. Donald Trump has the business & negoiation astute. Ted Cruz has the legal and political knowledge from within. So Ted must have told him who would be on our side.
GREAT MOVE !!!
Oh, that's right. I only caught a quick mention about it, but you're right. He's seeking out all of the best talent in the business, as we speak.
He's gonna kill the entire field.
I hope it’s because he wants to learn from Sen. Jeff Sessions and not merely garner the headline ‘Trump Consults with Sen Jeff Sessions on Immigration Strategy.’
Yes! Donald Trump, being from the NorthEast, would have a perfectly balanced ticket with Ted Cruz, from Texas. It makes sense!
The nice thing about that is that Trump doesn't want your money. He just wants your support. Cruz needs the money to get the message out.
Trump/Cruz - Cruz/Trump.
Just as long as the GOPe eats crow.
Good on ya. I can only manage about $25, but it all helps. Thanks!
I’m not surprised at all. Mr. Trump is serious and he’s finding the best experts that exist.

Great article by Julia Hahn. Trump BUMP!
And I will even more impressed if Trump adheres to them if elected. The problem is that Trump's policy on immigration is utterly incoherent as is his policy on virtually every other issue. It is good that he is being schooled by Sen. Sessions but the main question is whether Trump's ego can be put in a lockbox long enough for him to actually act on Sen. Sessions advice or will he blast off in any direction that tickles his fancy once he gains the office?
His incoherence on all the issues is hardly reassuring.
We all do what we can.
Send money to Trump also :)
