Donald Trump suggested that he would not support ending taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood's non-abortion services in two interviews Tuesday.

"We have to help women," Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity in an interview that aired on Tuesday night. " So we have to look at the positives, also, for Planned Parenthood."

Trump said he opposes federal grants going towards Planned Parenthood's abortion practices, but noted that abortions make up a "small part" of the organization. ...

Trump appeared to support shutting down the government rather than fund Planned Parenthood in an interview last week. "Asked directly by conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt if its worth shitting down the federal government to strip Planned Parenthood's $528 million in government funding, Trump replied, 'I would,'" Politico reported.

Planned Parenthood released a statement Tuesday lauding Trump's comments, urging Republicans to "reconsider their extreme and unpopular positions on defunding preventative care" and "abortion bans." ...

Stop giving them money doesn’t drop the butchering (other foundations will pick up the cost)
Holding participant guilty under stick laws. Sending them to jail will stop the practice
Defunding PP only makes it a political tool to be used against conservatives and republicans

No I’m not. It’s just that I already posted what I felt about this. It’s just redundant and tiring.

For the slow to grasp the full dynamics of issues, Trump stated federal funds should not continue for abortions.

What his views for PP are beyond that, is of no consequence.

He does not approve of abortion. I know that doesn’t fit your disinformation efforts, but it’s still true.

“Hey folks, over here, I’ve really got him now!”

Pathetic...

Even PP itself is admitting the majority of the business they do is abortions.

I give up if this isn't enough. I just give up.

Blind trust.

Even with a blind trust he would have to be careful of anything he did to keep it from even appearing as if he was using the power of the Presidency to enrich himself.

Remember the Clintons and how their blind trust just by coincidence I’m sure wink wink, made a boatload of money off of their comments about the pharmaceutical companies.

With Trump it wouldn’t be just a few hundred thousand or a couple of millions it would be tens if not hundreds of millions to be made with just a few words out of his mouth.

The dems would constantly be setting up impeachment traps.

Years ago, before Roe v Wade was decided, PP was around in the cities, even in states where abortion was illegal. They were not providing nor referring for abortions. They did provide birth control information (and probably birth control), pap tests, etc. They worked on a sliding scale payment schedule so were actually providing a good service back when everything was fee for service.

Since Obama, a president can do almost anything without Congress. The Mexico City policy involves abortion funding and every president since Reagan has reversed the policy by executive order, except George H.W. Bush.

You folks are incapable of higher functioning discernment.

Trump has not said he is okay with funding abortions.

Somehow in your mind you think that’s exactly what he’s done.

You’re wrong. You should have figured this out for yourself.

I disagree on his overall vision of PP, but that doesn’t mean he has backed won on defunding abortions.

That’s the RINO argument on everything. We should stop pursuing Hillary, opposing ACA, securing the border, etc. because by your argument none of that has a chance. Conservatives should just ball up into the fetal position.

He doesn’t have $10 billion. He doesn’t even have $1 billion. But you are right, he will never spend his own money to run.

I don’t get it? Shouldn’t you be saying this shows how he’s “standing up” to the GOPe and the media? This shows how he isn’t P.C.

Everybody has Conservative values of one sort or another. Just because
trump has a couple does not make him a conservative.

The mistake being made here by many Confused Conservatives is they'll latch
onto one talking point and run with it while ignoring everything else.
Selective ignorance. Line item voter.

Trump isn't and never has been a Conservative. If somebody gives you 10% truth and 90%
lie, that doesn't make everything they say, the truth. But yet here we are.

Yes, and most candidates don't self fund, so they don't have to worry about losing their own money on a campaign they may lose. If Trump spent every dime he had, at most he has 25% of what it takes to run. Trump is not stupid enough to spend his own money. No one has noticed he isn't even trying to get on the ballot in various states.

If you knew more about Trump, you'd know he already was bought. He relies on big government cronyism.
