FOX News host Megyn Kelly announced tonight at the end of her show that she will be going on a much needed vacation for the next week-and-a-half.
That’s a good point
Good journalism....geez..what bitch.....I can’t imagine dealing with her
Good women are difficult enough as it is......
What’s your point?
I’ve watched her a lot....a whole lot
Beltway moderate who compared to Liz Warren looks conservative
She’s nothing like who she interned for
She’s an ardent fembot.....very chinny
Nice legs....is that a selfie?

Albion: Excellent post #516 as well as your subsequent responses on this thread. I think you’ve stated the situation very well and thought things out very carefully. You are a good writer and an asset to FR, in my opinion.
I especially would like to echo what you said about the passing of the WWII generation and how that generation elected Ronald Reagan. That is a very important point. Add that to the fact that the dems are packing the country with illegal voters and are engaging in massive voter fraud and you start to get an idea of what we are up against.
I agree with everything you wrote and would like to add this: the powers aligned against us, in BOTH parties, are so strong, and the media is so strong, that it will take someone with Trumps personal financial resources to prevail. My only worry on that subject is that Trump himself might think it’s not worth a large investment on his part and might not go “all-in” on his own candidacy. The Megyn Kelly fiasco (fiasco on THEIR part, not on Trump’s part) probably did more than anything else in this campaign to ensure that my worry is unfounded. Surely Trump will not allow the Rove-Bush-Clinton Uniparty Machine to step on him like the bug they think he is. Surely Trump is 100% psychologically committed at this point and is willing to spend what it takes to counter the tsunami of media and establishment bias and lies that will fall on his head.
I urge everyone in FR to read post #516 on this thread and the subsequent responses to it by other FReepers.
Again, nicely written, Albion. You are a good writer.
What was it that her first husband said about her wanting a wife?
Maybe never come back.....bye!!
LOL!!!
How apropos!
Do we account for only 8% of Megyn’s audience?
Perhaps she gained viewership with the Left coming on board, at the same time we dumped her. Without picking up Lefties, I don’t quite see how the loss is only 8%?
As I said, I am no fan of John McCain, but as a retired US Army soldier, holder of a Purple Heart for being wounded in Vietnam myself, I will not stand for any puke saying a military person "tried" to get himself captured. THAT is simply a stupid comment regardless of who said it. I am sure that McCain and all those pilots knew just what they were in for if captured. There was enough leaking of information about the horrible conditions our POW's were enduring in the Hanoi Hilton. They were briefed enough about what was going on with our POW's treatment. Trump has never served. He has no right to address what a military POW endured. He should have kept his fat mouth shut regarding it. There is plenty more he could have blasted McCain with and left that comment out.
I don't and won't apologize for standing up for any military person who has that type of stupid comment made to them. I know FIRST HAND how our so called great citizens treated we Nam vets. I got spit on in the Atlanta airport. I got hissed at and called a baby killer. If you were in uniform in the 1960-70's, then YOU were considered the enemy. Not the commies in Nam. Just like the left loves the muzzies now, they loved the commies back then. I saw it up close and personal!
When you are a jackass like yourself. It fits. Loud mouths making comments about things they have no information about is a specialty here. You are one of them. We are done. I said what I said and I will not retract it. Go soak your head in the well of jackasses. It fits you well.
How vivid. I take it you are anti-Trump.
I am growing to like authenticity. It’s a refresher even when it’s risqué, if and when it’s accompanied by transparency and a little openness and honesty about his evolutions, his changing opinions, his issues and his politics over the years. He may like being loved and appreciated for his message and actually deliver on it.
Trump is no monk, for sure, but he may turn out to be the shot heard around the world for those of us demanding the implosion of the Establishment-UniParty and their crap candidates, and all their shenanigans to prop the sob’s up.
Remember Mississippi. That was really the last straw, for me anyway.
Trump may screw us over if he should be nominated and elected, but you know in my opinion it’s worth the risk. That is how intolerable things are with all the corruption and party politics and cramdowns.
I’m thinking “burn it down”, has a certain nice ring to it.
I had to miss most all of the aftermath of the Megyn mob hit on Trump, due to traveling.
I find your take interesting that even her personal appearance, her hair, showed wear and tear. I take it this was the same appearance where she also announced her abrupt vacation, effective immediately. She deserves a toll taken.
LOL! I am just so thankful that we made a difference in her ratings, I hear. I hope it holds. I took her off my DVR and must say, I want pay back for what she did to Trump. FOX was suppose to be an alternative to the Leftist political assassination of our candidates.
We were all betrayed. Royally.
Thank you! Great link! Great comments following the story too. I was desperate for an in depth explanation on the blow back against Megyn Kelly. This link was it.
I had been out of the loop since the 6th, and left trying to play catch up.
“Fair and balanced” became lynch-and-betray with even the first question coming from Brett Baier, seen doing an immitation of a Nazi SS Agent, in order to marginalize and isolate Trump in the party.
Baier was doing the bidding and the dirty tricks work for the RNC/Establishment crowd. THAT was not his job to be the enforcer for the Committee.
FOX has been well rewarded for being the single cable alternative to all the other cable monopoly on slash and burn coverage of our candidates over the years. The first time the RNC wises up to include a “moderate” source for a primary debate, FOX betrays all of us, royally.
Just a stunning betrayal.
That may be behind it, in the end, but it seems that once you have your own show on FOX, you do own it. Kelly was talking with a self-satisfied smirk all week, prior to the debate, that they were all lying awake nights thinking and reframing questions for the debate. She indicated she was laying in wait for Trump in particular.
That’s when I begin to think these professionals are paid plenty to make their own bed, at FOX. They are smart and given carte blanch to show off their skills as they see fit.
I hate to be a math prick, but your sentence should have read:
"...because half the electorate is below the MEDIAN in intelligence...".
What Trump said about McCain was in a fast moving conversation with Frank Luntz. McCain had called 15,000 people “crazies”, many of whom were veterans.
If you listen to the entire conversation between Luntz and Trump, you will find that at the end Trump agreed FOUR TIMES McCain was a war hero. Why do you take one sentence and ignore the other four?
That is a liberal media tactic of taking sentences out of context. Does it bother you that McCain called several hundred veterans supporting Trump “crazies”?
What you said is very true and you said it eloquently.
I agree with your assessment; but Al Gore is still a very uncharismatic person, and there was the massage girl accusations awhile back "behaved like a crazed sex poodle", I believe the tabloids said. Last time he ran, he put his wedding ring back on (they were separated) and made some big phony kisses on Tipper for the cameras, but now they are separated but not divorced for five years but he also has a girlfriend at least Trump marries his girlfriends. And he has aged and put on weight.
I wonder how much Trump knows about Soros and his machinations. Surely they must have crossed paths in New York.
