As I said, I am no fan of John McCain, but as a retired US Army soldier, holder of a Purple Heart for being wounded in Vietnam myself, I will not stand for any puke saying a military person "tried" to get himself captured. THAT is simply a stupid comment regardless of who said it. I am sure that McCain and all those pilots knew just what they were in for if captured. There was enough leaking of information about the horrible conditions our POW's were enduring in the Hanoi Hilton. They were briefed enough about what was going on with our POW's treatment. Trump has never served. He has no right to address what a military POW endured. He should have kept his fat mouth shut regarding it. There is plenty more he could have blasted McCain with and left that comment out.
I don't and won't apologize for standing up for any military person who has that type of stupid comment made to them. I know FIRST HAND how our so called great citizens treated we Nam vets. I got spit on in the Atlanta airport. I got hissed at and called a baby killer. If you were in uniform in the 1960-70's, then YOU were considered the enemy. Not the commies in Nam. Just like the left loves the muzzies now, they loved the commies back then. I saw it up close and personal!
What Trump said about McCain was in a fast moving conversation with Frank Luntz. McCain had called 15,000 people “crazies”, many of whom were veterans.
If you listen to the entire conversation between Luntz and Trump, you will find that at the end Trump agreed FOUR TIMES McCain was a war hero. Why do you take one sentence and ignore the other four?
That is a liberal media tactic of taking sentences out of context. Does it bother you that McCain called several hundred veterans supporting Trump “crazies”?
