Following Thursday's Republican debates, an overnight poll shows Donald Trump maintaining his edge over the crowded field of Republican candidates. ...
The NBC News online poll conducted by SurveyMonkey over Friday night and Saturday showed possible movement among the candidates following the debates, as well as Republican primary voters declaring Carly Fiorina the overall debate winner.
Donald Trump has the support of 23% of Republican primary voters following the debate ... Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina were the candidates with the most gains in support, 7 points and 6 points respectively ...
Among Republican and Republican-leaning voters who watched either of the debates or followed coverage of the debates in the news, Carly Fiorina emerged as the clear winner. Twenty-two percent said Fiorina won or had the best performance in the debate, followed by 18% who said Trump had the best performance. However, another 29% said Trump did the worst in the debate, clearly showing how polarizing he is. When the candidate' negative performance percentages are subtracted from their positive percentages, Fiorina notched a positive 20, whereas Trump scored a negative 11. Both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz did well, with net scores of positive 12 and 11. Rand Paul also fared poorly, scoring a negative 11. ...

You couldn't be further from the truth, fellow FReeper.
Forgot to take your meds this mornin?
She is a good talker that’s for sure. But, her background and policies don’t line up with her rhetoric.
Keep in mind:
Survey Monkey is an online polling outfit. They surveyed some 3500 of their 3 million
online participants. The real question is does this process reach the same standards
as the other polling entities? We don’t know but Survey Monkey says it does.
That’s your POV. Me, I’m equally impressed by both groups.
To be fair to Meg she’s a media employee- and being churlish, childish, shallow and self-centered is just doing her job.
Did you lift that from 1992 and just inserted “Trump” every time it said Perot?
It’s interesting that they surveyed people who didn’t watch either of the debates.
Or it would be if they segregated those responses from the responses of those who did LOL!
I’ll repeat: Shouldn’t our priority now be getting rid of Jeb, Christy, and Graham (for starters)? If Trump is out now, the next target will be Cruz.
Breathe in, breathe out, relax... it is August.
Here is another poll that says Trump is up 7% to 32% post debate.

It just got posted on FR:

Trump “lost” the debate but won the poll. That’s got to have the gopE scratching their heads.
Those who advise and run focus groups should be worried. I can just see Bush running around screaming “Get me Luntz on the phone, damn it!”
“He’s busy? Well, get me someone while I’m waiting!”
Fiorini “won”? Ridiculous. It’s essentially impossible to compare these two independent debates in a meaningful way, any more than it makes sense to compare the annual apple harvest to the annual orange harvest.
It’s not possible to legitimately lump these two debates together, since you can poll only those who watched both debates, which of course excludes the great bulk of those who skipped the kiddie debate and watched only the REAL debate, not to mention so few people watched the kiddie debate anyway.
To even pretend Fiorini “won” the debate shows you just how desperate the media and the D.C. insiders are to nuke Trump, because they both know neither will be able to buy, intimidate, or control him in any way if he becomes President.
>> In Trump We Trust <<
Fantastic slogan! Love it!
Won't happen. Requires logic and careful thought. Name calling and ad feminem attacks are a lot more fun!
Not bad, not bad!
And maybe even better than Trumpette, Trumpet, Trumpista, Trumperino, etc.
